Murfreesboro, Tennessee, has just banned being gay in public.

To implement the ordinance, city officials are trying to remove a number of books from public library.

The ordinance claims it is only about banning sexual activity in public, which is already illegal. But now lists homosexuality as sexual activity by definition. Gays can be on their feet fully clothed and arrested for ... rainbow clothes? Flying pride flag? Holding hands? Saying they are married?

I just started reading Black AF History, The Unwhitewashed History of America, by Michael Harriot. Lordy Gordy would the snowflakes in the butt crack states be clutching their pearls if they ever discover it on a local book shelf. But then, some people just can't handle the truth.....outstanding (and very informative.....and well researched).....book.

A right wing appeals court of Bush and Trump appointees overturned what is left of voting rights act by declaring, astonishingly, that private citizens and civil rights groups can't legally challenge denial of voting rights. A recent victory by Native Americans against racist gerrymandering is overturned and other decisions in Alabama and elsewhere are in question. Only the US attorney general may do so. Not NAACP or ACLU or League of United Latin American Citizens, all of whom have spent decades working to ensure voting rights.

Swastika waving Nazis marched in Madison, Wisconsin. They were repudiated by mayor of Madison and chancellor of University of Wisconsin, located there. By the governor. By Senator Tammy Duckworth. Every Republican office holder, local, state, Senator Ron Johnson, were silent.

Trump is a bottomless pit. There is never a bottom. He will always go lower. And his cult, and 90% of the Republican party, is eager to jump in.

Really? I sure as shit don't have a subscription to the Modesto Bee. I'm a freak, but not that much of a freak!

    Anyway, here's the gist:

A court filing details alleged threats by a Tuolumne County school board member to kill children and other people. Jason Vassar, 50, claimed to be the messiah and made racist and anti-government statements in documents reported Tuesday by the Union Democrat newspaper.

Portillo and another administrator met with Vassar on Oct. 30 to discuss his mental health, along with school board matters. After leaving, he sent them emails with a total of 93 pages of comments, some of them profane. The topics included COVID-19 in schools, the Antichrist and other biblical references, and complaints about communists and socialists. “I was kind of shocked to read in Revelations that I was going to be executioner for God and kill your children,” Vassar allegedly wrote.
