    The point isn't that they are all corrupt. It's that the system is corrupt, and supported by leadership, and they don't have as much motivation to do what needs to be done as the Republicans do.

    For example, he's set for life. He has no skin in the game as long as "my team" politics works for him he'll be fine. He doesn't care if the Republicans get what they want, since he can just blame the Republicans and the electoral college. Neither of which will change in his lifetime.

    Pelosi makes millions more when Republicans win.

    Non-issue. Who in their right mind would be within 8 feet of a cop to record during an incident? 8 feet is not much distance.

    You do realize the police will probably always send one officer over to stand next to anyone filming anything, right? It's just one more paving stone in the great republican fascist takeover.

    I mean police are ALREADY playing copyrighted songs while people are recording so their videos will get taken off the internet. Does anyone REALLY think these fucks won't take extreme advantage of a law like this?

    Sorry, but I don't think people should get within 8 feet of an officer during an incident. That seems like interference to me. The cops need to be able to do their job.

    All the shit the cops would have gotten away with without someone there recording. No, we need people to be our eyes and ears to keep Cops accountable. People taking videos of scenes are probably more than 8 feet away but still. People wouldn't need to record cops if they were doing their jobs.

    In the case of George Floyd maybe some interference could have saved his life.

    Or the interference could be used to send the officers to prison.

    I just don't think it's appropriate or safe for bystanders to run up right next to officers during incidents just to film it. 8 feet is plenty close.
