They don't even try to pretend any more.

DeSantis actually said Covid "was" a woke virus. I am not making this up. Aside from the fact that Covid still is, not was, it's a virus. It has no awareness. No brain. No neuron. No politics. It is impossible for a virus to be woke.

If it's so woke, why did it kill Black people in disproportionately higher rates?

 

This is actually how things should be done. The government has basically stepped in as a mediator to ensure confidence in the US banking system.

This isn't costing US taxpayers anything. Just shuffling debts. Of course, TARP didn't cost US taxpayers anything either...

However, the people who caused the problem should be fined heavily. Possibly to the point of bankruptcy, as well as face criminal charges.

 

And therein lies the corruption. There will be little to no consequences to the banks causing the problems. Not one banking CEO will be prosecuted, nor will they be forced to leave their positions after causing this mess. In fact, I suspect that many of them will get bonuses later on down the road, when all the dust settles.

Our entire U.S. congress is corrupt right in front of us. Hear either parties supporters caring that their party is corrupt? Not a single one of them. Because they are as full of crap as their party is.

Edit: The other side of this corruption coin. America always has money when it comes to billionaires whether republicans or democrats are running this country. Yet when it comes to ordinary Americans needs, especially our homeless, this is when both parties start worrying about where the money will come from.
