Also, sponsor, who never talked to a trans person, said transitioning makes people unhappy. The state is also discussing a bill that would force raped children to carry pregnancy to term. Because a raped 11 year old is not too young for lifetime changes and being raped and pregnant can't possibly make her unhappy. Both bills are expected to pass.
