That was actually just about 2 weeks ago! He was talking about how little talent we had and I said we had a Team USA center. He laughed at me and said "yeah and Mo Williams and Jamal Magloire are All Stars." This was about 2 weeks ago.
Well.. I suppose some people are unable to change view even in the face of such obvious and valid opposition. Just a thought, but you don't think he is just saying stuff like that to get you going? I wonder if he actually believes some of the things he posts on here or if he is just having fun knowing some of us, like you and me will bite.
Here you go. Earlier this month, this conversation actually happened. He actually compared Mason Plumlee to Jamal Magloire: Me: The "experts" and people like HCP aren't that knowledgeable about the NBA. They hear that 4 starters are gone, so they must suck. What they didn't notice was CJ and Aminu's emergence in last year's playoffs, that we got a Team USA center for a draft pick, and that we added reliable vets in Henderson and Ed Davis. They also turned a blind eye to Dame's leadership getting the whole team together in San Diego in September. And they underestimated Dame's ability to flourish without Aldridge. HCP: Did JinxSpeed actually use the term, "TEAM USA CENTER" when describing Plumlee? Really? Me: You really don't know much about basketball do you? Plumlee was on Team USA in 2014. HCP: ^This guy actually thought I didn't know Mason was on Team USA...... When I posted this, I knew this was going to happen. That would be like calling Mo Williams and Jamal Magloire NBA all stars. He's all over the place. Scoffs at Mason being Team USA and then said he knew I'd say that (so why did he say it?) Very odd. http://www.sportstwo.com/threads/wh...-preseaon-onward-power-rankings.298640/page-3
Clippers were 28th in the league in both ORB% and DRB% during the regular season. They are the worst rebounding team that made the playoffs. Plumlee has been great. He's seen an opportunity to help his team with both his passing and rebounding and has used his intelligence, motor and athleticism to make the most of those opportunities, but the fact remains, the Clippers are a very weak rebounding team. They are also missing a hell of a lot of shots. This gives Plumlee more potential rebounds and he's putting in the work to snare those extra boards. Props to him. BNM
