I never said it was funny. Like I said, my school has received tons of threats after the VT shootings, yet nothing has happened. We had graffiti all around the school saying things like "school to explode" "everyone is going to die" "bam bam" "mass murderaz" "Columbine Part 2." Yet nothing has happened. Even before the VT shootings, our school has always been a place of vandalism and threats. I'm not saying I'm completely sure a shooting will occur, I'm just saying that I've been through a lot of these "supposed" threats, and nothing has ever happened. I'm sorry if I sounded ignorant with my post, or if I offended anyone
I didn't know that my post would offend people and didn't mean it as a joke. These kinds of things are real creepy, and I hope nothing big happens. I haven't seen anything like this at the school I go to, and don't know there were people like this in the world who would do such cruel things. I'm sorry if I offended anyone with my first post.

A kid was shot at a downtown elementary school today and I immediately thought of this thread. It wasn't a school shooting type of thing (some teens were shooting fireworks at each other near a school, one of them pulled out a gun for some reason and a stray bullet hit a 14-year old boy), but it was just as senseless and tragic.
Wow, that's some weird stuff. Even though it may not be true, you still have to be careful. It's probably some kid trying to scare other people, but you have to be careful. You never know when stuff like VT shooting can happen to you. Since the school will have all the security on Friday, I say no need to worry then.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Elementary school students on a field trip had been told to expect a "campfire prank" by the teachers, but a tale of a gunman on the loose went too far, the Murfreesboro, Tenn. school system said in a statement. Sixty-nine sixth-grade students from Scales Elementary were told Thursday during a field trip to Fall Creek Falls that someone was shooting in the park and they should lie on the floor or crawl underneath tables and keep quiet. Parents met at the school over the weekend to discuss the incident, which frightened many of the children and brought some to tears. Eleven-year-old Shay Naylor said she and her classmates were scared. "I was like, 'Oh my God,' " she said. "At first I thought I was going to die. We flipped out. (A teacher) told us, 'We just got a call that there's been a random shooting.' I was freaked out. I thought it was serious." </div> http://the.honoluluadvertiser.com/article/...8246931705.html The teachers and the assistant principal were the ones who staged the prank
Not wanting to bump this thread, but thought I'd add my school had a lockdown today and we had to all go to the football field. A girl found a note in the bathroom stall that had read "6-7-07 I'm going to blow the school up", it was pretty wierd we were out there for 2 hours, while they had police, firemen, and dogs there.
