I'm trying to say I was wrong, and the Democrats were wrong. But I don't think they were entirely wrong about the bill. Maybe I'll change my mind further.
I just think he didn't know what he was talking about. A lie is something you know not to be true. Do you think he knew for sure that what he was saying was incorrect?
http://investigations.nbcnews.com/_...illions-could-not-keep-their-health-insurance Obama admin. knew millions could not keep their health insurance
Yes. Similar to his "promise" that he would not raise taxes by "a dime" on anybody making less than $250k. I don't think he's very smart, but I am pretty confident he isn't so dumb to believe the above while also promising healthcare for all.
Never mind that he said it nearly 3 years ago. It's pretty harmless compared to the lies told under oath to Congress by the head of the NSA about spying on Real Americans.
Are you joking? I honestly can't tell. You do know a government report came out in 2010 that stated tens of millions would lose their insurance. This has been widely reported. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Nobody lost their insurance. Worthless policies were outlawed, so if they were stupid enough to have one they'll get a better one now.
You have no fucking clue what you are talking about, read my earlier post where I talk about that (yet another) White House Big Lie (tm). Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
You're full of hot air. Your vague earlier post is fiction with no link, like most of your posts. Policies were discontinued for only 1 of 2 reasons. 1. They were so insufficient that they are no longer allowed to sell them. 2. They were cancelled by the insurance company to force their customers to buy more expensive policies.
I know you just post to humor yourself, and nothing you say is serious, but you should at least be consistent on what you're willing and not willing to tolerate having government intrude into.
Um...wait...you think it was a casual slip of the tongue? I think politically you haven't quite thought everything out, but I never thought you were stupid. If you think there wasn't intent here, then I have to reconsider what I think of you. This was a Baghdad Bob level of lying.
So, in your opinion, he's not a liar, he's just phenomenally stupid? Because, this wasn't just any old bill. This bill was his signature achievement, and he wasn't bright enough to understand it? Did you vote for someone that incredibly stupid? If so, it speaks volumes about you.
I can only assume the thought process of Obama when he made the statement. Either he was outright lying, which as a politician is very plausible. Or he had a caveat in his mind that "Health insurance plans can stay how they are now, as long as they don't change X or Y or Z. As long as they don't change those, my statement will hold true."
And thank goodness I pay taxes towards schools, but have fathered no children. It's being part of a community.
