    Government already does both. VA, and medicare (sorta). County hospitals, too.

    Why would anyone complain? Nobody really is now.

    If you want DMV, you buy from the govt. If you want cadillac, you buy from blue cross.

    Its spot on.

    Horror stories about the VA hospital system.

    A lot of doctors don't accept medicare because it costs a lot to, and takes a long time to, collect.

    DMV is fine for anyone who wants s not sick, which is most people most of the time.
