And Tony Parker is what Bayless could become, if everything goes perfectly.

Exactly what I was going to say. Our frontcourt is looking like it will be dominant for many years, why mess with it? I absolutely love Tony Parker and his game, and right now he'd be a big upgrade, but I'm okay with the way Blake and Sergio are playing lately with the team. And Bayless is a huge talent at that position as well. I'm just not sure it's necessary to make a move like this if it involves someone like Aldridge. Now if it involved Raef...

The only real reason we may have to make a trade is once Webster returns, even more people are going to be losing minutes, so a 2 for 1 might reduce the logjam, but I would like to give this team more time together. They've got great chemistry on/off the court, there's not a bad apple among them, and they're all young and getting better.

Not so sure change is what they need.

That's why you'd trade him? Because he bought a house in his home state? The nerve...

While he seems to have the some of the same sort of ability to penetrate, he's much bigger, more explosive, and already is a better jumpshooter. This should serve him well playing off of Roy and Rudy who will continue to touch the ball alot. It would be great if he's able to develop a PG mentality of running a team/keeping eveyone involved (much like TP did early on in his career) but don't think thats a rainbow over the hills impossible dream. It's also not a total dealbreaker for him working out here if he doesn't because (again) Portland doesn't need/want a ball dominating PG because of the skills of their other guards. Ideally their 3rd guard (Rudy & Roy being 1 & 2) can excell on and off the ball and reasonably cover the speedier guards in the league.

While not the better player today, Bayless seems to project potentially better in PDX then Parker.
