POR's 3 point percentage guard shooting stinks

    What would I call them? The 4th or 5th option.

    For the Blazers, hucking up a 3 is too frequently the 1st or 2nd option.

    Ah what's the point. When the Phoenix freaking Suns smother you with their defense, your offense has big problems. How is that even debatable?

    I'm a pretty big fan of seeing if Batum and Bayless can split minutes at the 1 (granted, it's different bringing the ball up against the Nuggets or Jazz than against Italy or Croatia), and then having a 2/3 rotation of Roy/Webster/Draft pick where we keep a defensive presence like Pondexter (my preference) or someone with ballhanding/shooting skills like Hayward or Singler or Hobson (or, in the pipe dream scenario, Evan Turner). Quincy doesn't shoot the 3, but he's very Dante-like in his ability to hit the midrange J's and play tough D.
