Orlando is not going to tear their team apart because they are down 1 PG. They will try to get a replacement, and ride it out. It's not worth tearing the whole team apart just because they are down one guy. They worked too long to build it in the fashion they did, around Howard. Now they just know they need to add depth at PG, and make a run at it again next year.

Injuries happen, they are part of the game.

Absolutely not. Hedo's not young enough, nor do I think he'd gel with the team. And while I like his offensive game, I'm not excited about his defensive game.

Oh and why would we give up both Sergio and Steve. That's ridiculous.

    I'd rather stand pat.

Not a great deal from Orlando's perspective because they get abused in the talent for talent equation, for the Blazers also not so good because we get an unrestricted free agent and our depth at point guard becomes dangerously thin ... unless there was some second deal to bring Hinrich or Andre Miller here.

I get the feeling ESPN.com is throwing some mud at the wall just to increase their page hits and thus their ad revenue.

Anyone remember the battles some of us had with a certain Orlando troll over at the other forum many years ago in regards to Outlaw being better than Hedo someday? Right now, looks like us Trail Blazer homers where wrong. :)

i wasn't there, but the final outcome is still debatable. they have similar PER and TS% right now and outlaw is 5 years younger.

Not to be an a-hole, but one thing I noticed in your link is that someone called Gortat, who I've never heard of also has a higher PER than Hedo. That doesn't mean Hedo isn't a very fine player.

If the deal in the link happens, I'm happy.

I actually like this trade. I'm 100% against trades, but of all the trades I've heard, this one would hurt the least. Frye isn't playing for us and we need to choose a PG to go with and I like Bayless a lot. I don't think Turkoglu would fuck up chemistry too much. It's not a bad deal. But like I said, I'm 100% against trades right now.
