Given his recent guilty plea for lying to the FBI in the Mueller witch-hunt, does this create an issue with the teams Morals Clause? :dunno:

A large percentage of the contract should go to charity.

No worries. Kostas has settled into a solid career at "starter on a top-10 Euroleague team" level. Just like former Blazers Rudy and Claver and almost-Blazer Petteri Koponen.

He shouldn't have been a lottery pick back in 2016 but I remember several people being keen on him before the draft. He is just 20 so still has plenty of time to develop and if he shows any kind of promise during practice and maybe limited minutes on the court, he could get a contract until the end of regular season (maybe).

It's the sort of player I want us to go for in free agency to fill roster spots. Well, I would have actually preferred a wing but I am fine with PapaG.

why worry about a 10 day contract? It's not like he is going to be in the rotation. He's likely done after 10 days. To me, it's not even an issue.

and it was my FIRST post in this thread and now this is my second. Thanks for counting for me. This would have never been made as I didn't expect an idiotic response to my post.

One thing I do like, he tries to dunk when he is close to the basket instead of immediately flinging the ball in the direction of the rim like it is a boiling hot potato. There is that....

Papagiannis’ g league numbers this season

    27mpg, 13.5ppg, 9.7rpg, 1.5bpg, 52% shooting, 79% FT. His per/36 comes out to 18ppg, 13rpg, and 2bpg.

    Still only 20 years old.

I’d rather have him than Leonard long term, so I’m rooting for him to get an invite next year.

One thing that gives papa g a chance; Leonard has looked AWFUL lately when he’s been needed because of Nurkic’ foul trouble. I’ve been watching a little bit of papa Gs games and he looks like a much better insurance player than Leonard. Hes a better rim protector and offensively he does more than just hover around the three point line. He’s also playoff eligible.

Papa Gs Dad is not a fan of Dragan Bender. To be fair, he was right. I’m just picturing him teaming up with papa Nurkic to create some kinda security unit

Looks like Papa G doesn’t care much about Bender either

If he can get his body to where it was in this clip he has a chance. Evidently he lost weight this summer but never really got a chance to crack the Kings rotation. He looked good in the gleague though. He’s got an impressive 7’6 wingspan as well. Fuck Meyers, let him waive a towel in a suit.

Selfishly, I want papagiannis to stay with the blazers and one day block the shit out of a Greek freak dunk. Then I can have my moment in the sun and scream "WHO'S YOUR PAPA, GIANNIS!!!!"
