Gonna be hard with Robinson out. I imagine Joel will slide to power forward and Meyers will continue to start.

Great timing, just got to the injury. First thing I noticed was that T-Rob tried to hide from the coaching staff when that time out was called. Didn't want to come out, love his competitive nature.

By "featured player" I meant "designated best player on the team." Olshey told the coaches to tell players to pass to McCollum. This royal rookie treatment had made Lillard the SL MVP and later ROY. He also built up McCollum to the SL media in advance, and everyone expected about 3/4 of a Lillard performance. Told to shoot as much as Lillard had, McCollum got a lot of points, but look at this list...#2 scorer, but only 6 of the top 50 scorers had a worse FG%.

Freeland isn't a very good passer, telegraphs too often. T-Rob on the other hand surprises me with how good he is.

The whole play with 1:05 in the 3rd was horrible. Meyers looked like he was absolutely lost, afraid to do anything in fear of making a mistake or fouling on a screen...

Edit: re watched it and saw that the defender ran into Meyers, he didn't even set a screen, and he looked afraid about the fact he was contacted at all... Guy needs to toughen up.

You do see flashes on the offensive end. I think that is he only reason he is still on the team.

Barton tries to squeeze in tight passes that just don't fit. I dunno, I don't want to see him at the point.

CJ is definitely better suited for playing time because he is more in control. But I think will energizes the bench which shouldn't be overlooked. I think you have to play will and pray he doesn't turn it over.

Great game! That's the CJ I've believed in and been hoping to see more of. I hope he can beat out Blake for the backup PG minutes as well. Pair him with Barton or Batum. Our bench is very promising for next season. It would be such a luxury to leave the starters out and build a lead. Teams like the Mavs and Rockets had to scrap their benches in free agency this could be the first step to us getting HCA next playoffs.

So Meyers has missed two games and now TRob is out for the rest of the summer league; possibly months longer. Shows how important that big man depth is! 5 PF/C on the roster sounds crowded but when a couple of them are missing games we'll be very thankful!

Meyers is still Meyers. Why oh why didn't Portland let him spend last season in the D-League? I've not seen one iota of improvement from him since his first summer league as a rookie. Barton and McCollum looked awesome though.

Barton and T-Rob were espn top 10 over jeter! This isn't the first time those two have combined for an espn top 10 play either!

You can't box out or rebound or show defensive awareness when you always (and I mean every single play today except one) stand (leisurely as a spectator) 15 feet from the hoop when anyone (on your team or the other) approaches the hoop to try to score.

Leonard has no offensive skills, which are much more than successful outside/dunk shooting when wide open. He has no moves for his own scoring. He does nothing to help others to score.

I can't think of a more UN-Spurs like player in the league.
