<div class="quote_poster">Quoting JWohl:</div><div class="quote_post">In last year's 7 game playoff series that TMac was in he average 30.7 / 7.4 / 6.7. Over the last 27 games of the regular season LBJ averaged 30.9 / 7.9 / 6.4. So if he is a "BEAST" for putting up those stats over a 7 game span what does that make LBJ for putting those up over 27 games? Also when looking at McGrady's stats from that series remember that he was playing the Mavericks, a weak defensive team. I think that you can't call anyone a "BEAST" in the playoffs if they can't get their team out of the first round..</div> There's obvious a big difference. It's very logical too. Tmac upped his game in the PLAYOFFS. That means the best of the best, not just the puny Eastern Conference. Lebron did put up some nice numbers, but like I said, the level of competition is alot different in a playoff series than just a regular season game. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting JWohl:</div><div class="quote_post">I would also like to point out that the panel of people that vote for the prestigious all-NBA teams agree with me, LeBron got 3 times as many votes first team as TMac with 45 to Tracy's 15. Overall LBJ had 160 more points than TMac in the voting so according to the 124 knowledgeable writers and broadcasters LBJ is a superior player..</div> Lebron isn't even the superior player of his rookie class, let alone anywhere in the league. He still has things we haven't seen from him, like killer instinct. Dwayne Wade might be BETTER than Lebron at this point. So how can you even began to compare him to a player like Tmac? Somebody who outplays Lebron almost EVERYTIME they play. People are so quick to overhype this kid, and then make excuses when he doesn't make the playoffs (2 years in a row). My answer, there is no comparison. Tmac is the best SF in the game, and will be for the next 3 or 4 years. By the way, Cleveland had 2 Allstars on they're team and still failed to make the postseason. What's the excuse? <div class="quote_poster">Quoting AznxBaller:</div><div class="quote_post">I think its just me, but I don't get why people think McGrady's so clutch just because of that performance. So he got hot at the end, big deal. Anyone can get hot at the end of a game and light you up. But that was one game. Its not like there were several occasions he made buzzer beaters (I only remember two this year) and his end of game defense has been subpar up till this year.</div> Uuum......If you didn't notice, Tmac has BEEN one of the best clutch players before he even played with the Rockets. So how could you even question him being clutch? Hitting buzzard beaters is VERY RARE, to hit two in one season is OUTSTANDING. Let alone I can name PLENTY of times where he came through and hit clutch shots in the 4th quarter last year. Check the Knicks game in Madison square, Padgett hit the game winner, but Tmac KILLED the Knicks in the clutch. Tmac was the BEST CLUTCH player last year. I don't think anybody should question that
being clutch the best luck play was when wade blocked amare studemire and ran the floor and took a 60 foot shot and made it to win game that was amazing
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TmacGarnett:</div><div class="quote_post">being clutch the best luck play was when wade blocked amare studemire and ran the floor and took a 60 foot shot and made it to win game that was amazing</div> That shot did not win the game, it was right before halftime lol. Anyways I believe that TMac is the best small forward in the league right now. LeBron is close behind and he may pass TMac in a couple of year, but for now TMac is on top.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">lebron james is a very talented player he cant take over a game at the level tmac can </div> Exactly....Lebron does not have the tools on the offensive end that Tmac has.....I've never seen Lebron square a dude up 30 ft away from the basket and drill a jumper, I hardly ever see him post someone up and hit a fadeaway jumper.....Tmac has a lot more weapons in his arsenal on the offensive end <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Mike Bibby, Sam Cassell, Ray Allen, and Chauncey Billups</div> Would you seriously take these dudes over TMAC down the stretch....TMac was very clutch last season....He had game winning shots against Portland,Philly,Dallas, and SA.....I can't count how many times he took his game to another level in the 4th quarter....the two best clutch performers in the NBA today are Kobe and Tmac.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting AznxBaller:</div><div class="quote_post"> I judge clutchness by defensive effort at closing seconds, efficiency down the stretch, and the buzzer beater. </div> LOL I cant think of anyone else but T-mac when it comes to that right now on the spot. I remember T-Mac demanding he hold Lamar Odom to make sure he didn't score the gamewinning shot against us (which he didnt becasue T-Mac has extreme clutch D). He did this MORE THAN A HANDFUL of times, but who the hell really remembers defensive slutch stops anyways right? And you can't say a good FT shooter can hit clutch FTs, then that basically takes away all of Biillups clutchness (remember bob sura missing those 2 in phoenix and amare BARELY missing the game winning dunk). Clutch FTs mean WAY MORE THAN YOU THINK. McGrady is Clutch. I would hand him the ball everytime we needed to score in the final seconds.
