Don't know much about Felton but we now have a starting PG who shoul be in his prime at almost the same time LA starts to hit his prime. Basically we are back to the problem of needing a good pack up for the next few years.

Starting five look solid . . . but I'm not used to the Blazers being thin. I'm hope we aren't adding a lot more projects on the bench as we already have Babbit, Williams and Johnson. Blazers now need to add a proven big man via trade or maybe MLE.

If true, then can we finally say that we drafted Jordan when we had the chance?

We can get Norris Cole and Isaiah Thomas with our second rounders and have a whole team of short shooting guards?

I thought this was supposed to be a 'positive' thread.

    My bad, Ed...

You consider it "positive" to take shots at your fellow posters?

    Interesting.

    Aldridge didn't get injured.

With this team's history, that's a positive day.

Yes, when they're being negative in a "positive" thread. I merely pointed out that Felton isn't the downgrade that others think he is. You blew it on the Assist% argument against Felton. If calling you out on it is wrong, then that's a "you" issue, isn't it? Weren't you the one criticizing Felton for his Assist% in the first place? I was merely pointing out that an Admin's negative opinion on Felton also applied to Miller.

yeah, we didnt get something we sorely need...

but i think nolan smith is going to make babbitt better by teaching him how to play cats cradle on the dleague bunkbeds, which will make his confidence go up, which will make him turn black, which will make him be good

"Felton is going to be a lightning rod for criticism, though, because the Miller Camp is entrenched in Mediocre Town"

That was in your post, which was the 13th in the thread. Where was anyone negative in the thread before that?

I blew nothing. You wrongly DIRECTLY correlate assist % to whether a player is "pass first" or not.

I didn't bring up assist percentage. You did.

I brought up that he was a shoot-first PG. And he is. If you've spent time watching him, or if you listen to many people who have seen him play (Dan Dickau called him a "volume shooter" on Talkin' Ball tonight, for example), then you would know that. Instead, you brought up his assist % for last year, and claimed that it was good. I pointed out that it was an aberration. Which it definitely appears to be, based on his career to this point.

Why are you derailing this "POSITIVE" thread?

The #1 goal was to improve at PG. We did that. Felton/Smith > Miller/Mills. We didnt take on any bad contracts and we kept Batum. We got rid of Rudy.
