<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Trip:</div><div class="quote_post">Fuller is now playing summer league with Charlotte. I've seen him on TV and I gotta tell you, he looked good with his sweeping leftie hooks. Who knows, he could be a late bloomer. </div> He's been in Europe and working on his game alot, but I just don't think that the Warriors would welcome him back. He's a good shot to get a bench seat in Charlotte, he played on the hornets team a while back due to his NC connections, and would probably play at the minimum for one year. It's not like the Bobcats are competing for a finals spot this year, it's all about the future - but might as well have some fun today.

Their first game is tomorrow against San Antonio, so I'll watch it if I don't feel too sleepy since it will be 10:30 PM by the time the game starts here in Toronto.</div> Cool. I'll make sure I bum around the Rockets forum from time to time and see if I can contribute there.

Yo Rudeezy can we move Zhone's post on a separate thread for free agents so we can update it as the weeks go along? We can put a line through the names that get signed over the weeks.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Rudeezy:</div><div class="quote_post">I split the thread and stickied it.</div> Sweet. This will be good. And then if there's a dicussion about a particular free agent from that list that goes on extra long we can make a new topic so its more organized.
I think that we can dip into our MLE, and should if Cohan doesn't cheap out this year. We don't need to offer any long deals, but one or two years at 5 million would entice some great talent. Although I talked about young guys and cheap vets, I forgot to talk about some more of the mid-priced vets. I mentioned a few, but forgot to mention bringing back Bobby Sura, trying to get Toni Kukoc to mentor/backup Dunleavy, or grabbing Damon Jones. These guys would take most of the MLE, but all would fill the needs of GS for good passers and solid mentors.
I like the one Zhone recommended (Zeljko Rebraca). Zelly would be nice, although injury prone. Kenny Anderson wouldn't be bad as a third string but he's also injury prone. We could take Brandon Armstrong if we need another shooter... (plus he's from the bay area) Jon Barry the same, but he would demand more playing time/money... Frahm might be good and he's an okay defender despite his athleticism. Wesley Person is nice to have in the lockeroom as well as a deep ball shooter. I would love to have Bruce Bowen, but I don't think that would work and San Antonio wouldn't let him leave unless someone overpaid for him. Keon Clark (injury prone) would be a good pickup. Jarron Collins might be okay. Eddie Gill might go cheap as a 3rd point guard. Lindsey Hunter would be a good pickup when you need a scoring point guard who can also defend and has size. Damon Jones would be an excellent pickup with his improved playmaking, range, and size. Anthony Johnson could be okay but i'm not a fan. Brevin Knight, could do the same and plus Montgomery has coached him before. Rod Strickland would be all right at 3rd or 2nd string. Mikkie Moore would be decent as a power forward. Jabari Smith might be a decent pickup at center. Gary Trent would be quite good. Samaki Walker would be okay... Charlie Ward might be okay as a third string. We can use Rodney White if we need a scorer. Eric Williams would be a nice pickup. Chris Witney would be an okay third string. Scot Williams would be a nice pickup. Kevin Willis, the same. Jamison Brewer might be all right. Etan Thomas I would like. Mike James would be a decent third stringer. Chris Mihm would be okay. I'm real big on Joel Pryzbilla even though he's injury prone. Jake Tsakalidas could be a stop gap if he agrees to a short term. Mo Pete would be a good pickup if you can afford him. He can play defense and bail you out in the second halves like he did in that embarassing Toronto vs. Warriors game where the W's scored like 2 points in the 4th quarter and blew it in overtime. Thanks a lot Musselhead for setting a new franchise record.
^ I think obviously we have about 1 miiilllllion different possibilities for FA signings. My thoughts are a bit scattered, but I'm sure the actual Warriors have a "list" of who they actually want. Unfortunately, as we've run through with our little scenario here, that list could be pretty big, and we're not entirely sure who's #1 or even #10.

I would love to have Damon Jones because he's big and he's become quite a playmaker if you've watched him with the bucks (and when he's not trying to go crazy on 3's). His teammates also like him a lot and he's a great role model. I think if we can get DJ and a really big center like Pryzbilla, Rebraca, or Tsakalidas for small short contracts I'd be happy. But I think anything that involves big men we have to cough up dough if you want the whole package of rebounding, shotblocking, low post D, and have the mobility to contest shots and run back and forth for at least 30 minutes a game without tiring. What about Boom-boom? Reuben Boumtje Boumtje? He's a Georgetown center.
