I use the occasional "girlie post" but not too much. I see sometimes in the Nets forum posts that almost need an urban dictionary for them, but it isnt too much of a big deal. when an overflow of horrible posting comes(like back on BBF.com), then we should discuss "guidelines" even though it is practically impossible for this site to remain seen being "good" if there were strict guidelines.</div> Why is deleting "WTFFXXXX“?1!!!!!!111" posts being strict? Why the hell would you or Dump want to see that over and over? Let's not argue about semantics and shit like that, you people know exactly what I am referring to. Don't continue to generalize my position please. </div> Again, I am just very opposed to restricting speech in that manner. It's no more annoying than reading the hundred thousand "Jason Collins Sucks!" posts. I respect your position, but I just am not outraged by these sorts of posts.

Every post would be reviewed by the Commission for content before being added to a thread. However, to keep things moving, I'd propose that posts that haven't been rejected within a three-hour, forty-five minute time limit should be deemed acceptable. What do you think?</div> Well I don't think you need a posting commission to figure out "OMG WTF LOLZ", is making this forum look bad if it comes out of the mouths of people who have been here a while. Or do we need this elaborate commission to decipher that conclusion? Give me a ****ing break Dump. Kobe23 is just an arbitrary throw in I mentioned that has some problems (he's not the perfect antagonist and he's a decent guy). Other offenders are clearly more obvious. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Of course, I've only been a member here for six months, so what do I know. I'm only an egg.</div> When did I say new members are stupid? Read very slowly DUMP, I'd just go easy on the new guys to entice them to stay here. Then once they fall in love with the community or whatever, I'd warn them at least about egregious posts. Even though i disagree with your stale jokes and satire, you still didn't SPAM this board with hawkfan's type of messages. I respect that you elaborate your points. </div> In all seriousness, I'm very wary about limiting or restricting content. It's a door that I don't want a part of, and it's one of the primary reasons that I've never, ever, ever been a moderator of any internet forum, nor ever plan to. If someone wants to submit a two-word post, hey, it's no skin off my back. It's not like I'd be off finishing my novel if I wasn't taking four seconds to read it. </div> Fair enough Dumpy, I just think those kind of posts make this board more unpopular if anything. If deters people from wanting to stay. Let me explain: For example, have you ever seen NBA youtube debates? That stuff is childish and ridiculous, I don't want any part of those youtube comments because the people there are so immature and have no class. This isn't the case here of course, but it's a microcosm. </div> But you have to accept that there are a lot of people here in different age groups, with different backgrounds, and in different demographic groups. And different brain types, which affects how they interact to others and react to other comments and opinions. Some people just want to talk sports, and some people just want to chill, like they were at the neighborhood pub. There are teenagers who may be rash and quick to anger, but are also passionate about sports and their beliefs, and add life and vigor to the community even if some don't express themselves as effectively as they could. I personally just try to amuse myself, and hope that in some way I make other people's experience here a little more enjoyable. Make no mistake, though: My primary purpose is to retain my own sanity. To answer your question, though, I have not seen any youtube debates, but I doubt I'm part of the target audience, anyway. I do know how to send a text message on my phone, though, if that counts for anything.
