I think Beltran was a candidate when the Yankees had a managerial opening after Girardi was let go. If I were Boner I'd be wary, one slip on the Yankee Ship and he could be gone.

With Harold Baines being allowed in the Hall of Fame it's only a matter of time before Beltrain-svestite gets in...

At this point I'd rather see anybody that baBoone managing the Yanx.
Like a train conductor who does not know which button to push; which switch to flip. Hopefully it's onky a matter of time b4 BelTrain takes over. A freaking monkey could do a better job than bonehead.

Just hope he (BelTrain-svestite) doesn't wear those stilettos when he walks up to the mound...

Kind of hated to see McCutchen go. But it is a crowded Outfield in the Bronx cream..

Tomorrow Machado shows up for his meeting with Trashman. I'd like to see 10,000 Yankee fans waiting outside, yelling and telling them both, i.e. Manny & Trashman, to go fk themselves ...

I for one am getting sick of hearing about the possibilities of Harper and or Machado wearing pinstripes. Go wear Mets pinstripes or Philly pinstripes, or Twinkie pinstripes or any other Pinstripes other than the real pinstripes...

Still not a word on DinglefkingBerry being moved out of New York. Trash man should make a package deal GianKarlo and Jacoby for a bat boy and ball girl...

From what I understand many Yankee Fans are violently opposed to Machado being on this team. It is not necessary to have a pair of 30 mil per year jerks on board. Time for Hal to step up, show interest and say thanks but no thanks. Pretty boys who view A-hole as their icon can pass on.

Brantley close to signing a 2yr deal/ 32 mil with the Houston Astros.

This is one FA player who I think GM Trashman really screwed up in
obtaining. He is a better fit than Gardner.

Brantley is a damn good player, quite the hitting machine. Saw Pena & Thome do a break down of Brantleys hitting skill on MLB network. Good pick up by Houston, another boat missed by Cashman.

Astros got themselves a fantastic left-handed hitter. He's a player I wanted all offseason.

    ....^^^^

Hobbs You were the first to mention Brantley, who would of made a perfect fit for t/Yanx, perfect in the Bronx, and more so versus the Red Sox. Brantley had a .350 plus batting average in Fenway.

Brantley is a lifetime .299 hitter with a .351 OBP.

Trashman needs to thin out the Outfield. Ellsbury, Staunton and Gardner. I would have eliminated all three to have Brantley.

As you noted earlier Hobbs, Brantley's sweet swing is Tailor Made for Yankee Stadium and Fenway also...

I have zero confidence in Trashman and his lack of ability to put together a sound team....

Just heard machado's visit lasted about a half hour. I guess cash told him he wasn't getting 10 years or 300 mill. Good riddance if story is true. I'd rather have the lefty harper anyway if were gonna spend big
