I hope Machado did not get his hit by the door knob while making his exit. Yep. as Ray Charles once sang "hit the road jack".

I'm not sure anyone's going to give Harper the 10 yrs and 35 Million $$$ a yr.

If Trashman's going to pursue a player in that salary figure, he'd be better served trying to land/trade for Mike Trout, imho....

Glad to see Manny Mashito was shown the door; what a waste of an Airplane Ticket.

For once I'd not hold the Owners accountable if there were some behind the doors Collusion, with asshats Harper and Mashito.... just this one time, both players only.....:cowboy:

Watching MLB Network to hear news about Machado and heard that brilliant guy Amsinger say:

He (Amsinger) want to see Machado as a member of the Yankees.

He (Amsinger) stated that A-hole was the most popular Yankee. Thome had a strong answer for that one mentioning Ee2spect

That prompted Amsinger to say one did not have to be an Alter Boy to be popular.

Amsinger is a fucking idiot. Then you heard additional comments from Byrnes.

    I walke away.

It's all I can do to listen to that dumb shit Greg Amsinger. He shouldn't even be on the air. The dumb FK doesn't know a damn thing about baseball. At this point he is only the antagonist for those who know a thing or two about the game, because it's not him. He's the total Village Idiot dipshit...

I would walk away too, after such a bullshittin childish comment about being an altar boy. A-Fraud vs the Prince of New York Mr. RE2PECT.
He's got a lot of dumb nerve....

Jeter and Mo were in a world of Their Own. A-Fraud was an embarrassment only...

If they're going to let Harold Baines into the Hall of Fame then one can make the same argument for Beltran in the Hof...

Rained like hell in St. Petersburg yesterday continuing on through today and probably tomorrow as well. So for the first time in a while I caught an hour of "Hot Stove" and High Heat. Vasgrgin and Reynolds abetted by Shihady, mor antics than baseball new. Per Russo and Shine every long time Yankee Fan say no to Machado while the remaining MLB "Experts" feel he'd be a good fit. Fuck that. Today I guess he (Machado is in Philly, I hope the Phillies out bid the Yankees by a long shot. I'm getting sick of hearing about this guy. Sign Le Mehieu or M Gonzales to play 2nd, put GT at short, and save big.

Comment by Eric Byrnes on MLB Network heard by me this afternoon:

"No one else should get into the Hall of Fame until Bands and Clemens get in". Brilliant, simply Brilliant. MLB Human Resource Personnel dive into deeper dumpsters for their staff than Cashman does for his Ball Players.

Lemahieu indoor Gonzales at 2nd with GT at SS could work out well, and save a Brinks truck full of money.
Money that could be better spent elsewhere, in several ways.

Yankee should always remain in the hunt for an Ace starting pitcher, stockpile them...wtf-

Surprised I haven't heard talk of Tulo in New York. Tulo is owed 20 million in 2019, 14 million in 2020, with a 4 million dollar buy out in 2021.

Playing with a chip on his shoulder could get interesting with Tulo.
Tulowitzki's will be 34 years old. He has only played in the hundred and 3rd and plus games once since 2011 season. Last two seasons we're disastrous for Tulowitzki. When he came back from bone spur surgery his numbers were down offensively.
My bet is tulowitzki's peaked years ago. Too bad I could only imagine a healthy young to all that short, waiting to fall apart again and again. Not a good investment- just say now Tulo, whose price tag is anything but low....

Once the greatest defensive shortstop in the game for 8 years, now a ticking time bomb an expensive one at that...

Over the last 7 seasons Tulowitzki played in 91 games or less, in 3 of those 6 seasons; and missed the entire 7th season of 2018.
Blue Jays have released Tulowitzki. One expensive Band-Aid. Tulos price tag is anything but Too-Low....

The Blue Jays are still on the hook for his entire 38 million-dollar salary. If trash man could offer him 5 million bucks he might land him in the Bronx... that would not be bad for a part-time player and would not break the bank. This one could get interesting. I would not bet the farm on Tulowitzki but IF he can be had for a reasonable price, acurio cheerio...

On December 11th the Blue Jays will East Tulowitzki. He is now a free agent with a Twist....

Any team can now sign Tulowitzki for the pro-rated portion of the league minimum.

Heel injuries, which required surgery to both feet, caused the 34-year-old...

Tulowitzki to miss the entire 2018 season. He has not appeared in a big league game since July 28, 2017, and a variety of injuries caused him to miss 545 of 1,134 possible games from 2012-18.

At the prorated league minimum I would jump on him in a heartbeat. If anything he would bring a veterans presents to the hallowed sacred ground of Yankee Stadium which he has worshiped since he was a kid much like Mr. RE2PECT... but then what young little Leaguer and high school kid does not dream of being a Yankee???...

I'm hoping we sign LeMahieu as our defensive stud 2B and keep Torres at SS until Didi returns. Then have Torres move to 3B and Andujar to 1B.

Heard on MLB Network Hot Stove this AM.

"Manny Machados meeting with the Yankees lasted about 90 minutes, the same amount of time for him (Machado) to run from home to 1st Base!"
