I think the owners are finally waking up to a degree and only a team like a white sox and phillies desperate to make a splash will even look at these long term contracts anymore. If machado wants to play here it will 5, 6 or 7 years most.

Damn good move, Lemahieu is a damn good player. Cashman must have took a smart pill for a change.

That Yankee infield is shaping nice with quality personnel and Didi on the mend with something to come back to. Still wonder about the Voit/Bird combo at first.

^^^^^and here lies why athletes think they are worth more than their actual worth! After the first week of
July 2018 Severino was worth 2 empty plastic soda bottles.......with no refund!

Per comments I heard today on MLB Network Cashman still wants to move Gray but is being cautious because of Biggies health problems. Re-signing Biggie may cause more issues than they are worth. Gray has shown that he can't sub for any one on the roster.

this is why our GM is a named after a dumpster diver. He cannot correct a bad signing.
No takers?? Seriously?? I'd of taken a batboy for Gray, or the
30th pick, 1,214th pick of the 40th round in the next draft....

Discussing the 10 best 3rd Basemen now on the fan vote side Andujar came in at # 8. Per Mike Lowell the hid is a hitting machine and his defense can be fixed. Per an ESPN Article I saw today the Yankees are betting on Andujar as well. Damn good news, I don't want the Yankees to quit on the young player and sign over priced Prima Donnas.
