    Talk about desperation moves, just saw on ESPN that Cleveland signed Clippard to a minor League Deal. Bad enough that they have "Head Case" Bauer without adding to their misery.

    http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/26049725/padres-announce-manny-machado-300-million-signing

    Machado 10 yrs 300 Million :protest:
    Harper ??? ___ yrs ____ Million £££ :protest:

    If either is worth that 30 Millllllllllllllllllllllllllion $$$$$$$$; then what will Mike Trout get end of this Year as a FA??

    10 years 350++ Million $$$$. plus plus +++

    I don't believe anyone is worth 30 Mil a year; but if one is going to pay both dks Machado and Harper, Kershaw and Greinke 30 plus million; then Trout's definitely worth the long term 3rd World Country Gross National Product figures. :protest::dammit:

    Trout honestly at this point in his career is the ONLY Player imho worth a long term contract and name your tune and price Mike Trout;
    He'd look good in Pinstripes imo..... but for a broken bank???? :nerd: :nerd:
    Hmmmmppphhhhhh......:blink: :dunno: :notworthy::notworthy2: :smiley-bowdown::smiley-bowdown:

    Marwin Gonzales signs with the Twinkiews, 2 years 21 mill. Damn good utility guy there. Don't know how good it will go but Erwin Santans agreed to a minor Leagues Deal with Chicago. Cleveland needs to watch out in that Central Division.

    Another desperation move by Cleveland, Hanley Ramirez is signed to a minor league deal.

    Saw a report this AM that the Dodgers have jumped back into the mix for Harper. That guy already has an ego larger than Alaska. Too many teams have kissed his ass, I'd laugh my butt off if Philly withdrew their offer given the improvements they've made.

    Per MLB Network this am the Rockies gave Arenado a new contract 8 years 260 mile opt out at year 3. Happy for the franchise and the player. Black was extended three years as well. Splits or no splits Arenado arguably to the best 3rd Sacker in the game.

    35 Million per year (350 million for 10 years at least with an opt out after a few seasons)

    Didn't expect 13 years but it got the yearly amount down for Philly I guess.

    Thank God he's not in t/Bronx....

    13 yrs, say goodbye to the Philly Franchise...

    13 years~ a setback to those 10 yr bs unhealthy deals, say goodbye to the financial health of MLB's Owners, as well as their mental health....

    When you have Judge, you can pass on Harper

    When you have Andujar you can pass on Machado

    Good job by the Yankees for not signing either.

    Guess we can all say 2019 is off to a *good start.
    I like the additions of Tulo and Paxton, extension for Happ, not *bad.

    Going to be interesting to see what bird does or doesn't do, Voit as well, Frazier, GT and LeMahieu also.

    Stanton has to get his head out of his ass and figure out how to make simple contact on the ball / bat.

    Sanchez has to make a major upgrade to his defense or I wouldn't hesitate to trade his ass lazy fkr...

    I do not expect a sophomore Jinx for Andujar.
    I expect his defense to be outstanding and his offense very potent, no sophomore jinx...

    I do not understand re-signing CC not even for a year. He might be best off as middle reliever once a week, since 4 innings seems to be his max

    I do not think Tyler Wade is going to do us a damn bit of good....

    * revised typos
