Hanser Alberto SS obtained off waivers from Texas & placed on Yankees 40 man roster. And so a
new baseball season begins with a bargain basement addition. This is Trashman’s technique to fill
the roster with players who belong in the farm system.

I have lost all faith in Trashman picking any prospects, any free agents, any players worth anything...

Trashman continues to pick from the Trashbin.... like a homeless vagrant looking for delicious leftover 3/4s eaten maggot infested Big Mac....

I can only imagine what the Phillies would look like with both...

The Yankees need to offload as much as they need to acquire a couple of SP Aces ...

I would make signing Happ and Corbin a priority...
Starting pitchers that are not over the hill, are becoming a rare commodity.
Here's a list of free agent starting pitchers after next season...
I hope 2 hell the winter meetings are fruitful...

    Chris Archer (31) — $9MM club option with a $1.75MM buyout
Jake Arrieta (34) — can opt out of remaining one year and $20MM unless Phillies exercise a two-year, $40MM option
    Homer Bailey (34) — $25MM mutual option with a $5MM buyout
    Madison Bumgarner (30)
    Carlos Carrasco (33) — $9.5MM club option with a $662.5K buyout
    Andrew Cashner (33) — $10MM vesting/player option
    Jhoulys Chacin (32)
Yu Darvish (33) — can opt out of remaining four years and $81MM
    Gerrit Cole (29)
    Mike Fiers (35)
    Kyle Gibson (32)
    Sonny Gray (30)
    Cole Hamels (36)
    Felix Hernandez (34)
    Rich Hill (40)
    Corey Kluber (34) — $13.5MM club option with a $1MM buyout
    Wade LeBlanc (35) — $5MM club option with a $450K buyout
    Miles Mikolas (31)
    Shelby Miller (29)
    Ivan Nova (33)
    Jake Odorizzi (30)
    Rick Porcello (31)
    Jose Quintana (31) — $11.5MM club option with a $1MM buyout
    Clayton Richard (36)
    Tanner Roark (33)
    Chris Sale (31)
    Drew Smyly (29)
Stephen Strasburg (31) — can opt out of remaining four years and $100MM
    Julio Teheran (29) — $12MM club option with a $1MM buyout
    Jason Vargas (37) — $8MM club option with a $2MM buyout
    Justin Verlander (37)
    Michael Wacha (28)
    Adam Wainwright (38)
    Zack Wheeler (30)
    Alex Wood (29)

    Your welcome.
I should have clarified, that is the list at the end of next season. Since we all know who is available currently. Just looking ahead, as some of next year's free agents could be available in the winter trade meetings....

Personally I would seriously consider Sandy Koufax at age 83.
    Bob Gibson at age 82.
    Nolan Ryan at age 71
And the youngster, Ron Guidry at age 68.

Philly Fans would boo a cure for cancer, if Machado didn't hustle they'd throw batteries at him.

and I thought the Bronx Zoo was a tough crowd.

In that case I hope the Phil's sign him; maybe a few semi-truck die-hards will fly his way....
