Well, I guess it depends on how Rubio will do in NBA, but for now, Minny side looks much better. I seriously doubt that Wiz expect Rubio to be available, and if there is a PG who can play with Arenas, that would be Rubio...

Curry it is. I don't know I like this pick, but he was BPA at this point. Now what...

Yeah, now what? HAHA. Curry looks like a friggin baby, but he seems like a good kid (good father).

I'm happy with the Curry pick considering the situation. Still burned that we got jumped on Rubio though, it really seems like the Warriors could have worked something. Curry was high on my list though, so...we'll see.

Curry alone would not be a bad pick. The problem is that I just don't see Curry-Monta line up defensively. Did we really draft Curry for Suns? Will Curry start from the bench? Or is Monta on the move?

Was thinking that but Phx picked Earl Clark so hmm. If they were picking #14 for the Warriors, I would have thought Holiday or Lawson, who were still available.

Yeah, the rumors are flying around among Stoudmire, Biedrins, Wright, Marco, Azubuike, Curry and Clark. I even heard Stoudmire for Biedrins, Wright, Marco, Azubuike and Curry, which doesn't make much sense, because not only we are giving up awful a lot, Suns have to open up additional 4 roster slots. Can't say I am a huge fan of this deal, but we will see...

I can't figure out how real this Amaré deal is. Anyway, Philly just nabbed Holiday at #17 I think that's a really good value for them there.

Holy crap, Minnesota got Rubio, Flynn, and Lawson. Even for a Nelson team, that's ridiculous. A lot of potential there though, maybe they just figure hey, at least one of these guards has to work out.

Hm, so many question marks for some of the choices.

As far as the draft-game, I think I ended up at 1 point, I lost a ton with the Rubio-craziness. I knew I shoulda went with my gut.

First round is over, and this is the result for predictions.
This is unpredictable draft, and many people got killed by Hoilday and Johnson pick.

    1. Zhone: Only one with positive scorer. Nailed 9 out of 14 picks.
    2. Jason Voorhees: Got 8 out of 14 picks right, but Holiday and Lawson picks were killers.

Zhone is this year's clear winner!

Brutal. So many small players, it was really hard to figure which guy would go where. I wonder if the front office is thinkin about shopping Ellis and holding onto Curry.

Oy. -24 points on that player alone. Oh well, fun draft and I'm happy with the Curry pick. Listening to Larry Reilly talking about Curry on the Warriors KNBR Roundtable, it sure doesn't sound like they're intending to trade him.

    Congrats Zhone!
