I WANT IT! Gallinari is reliably great on offense, and, trivia alert, is currently 23-23 on FTs for the season.
I would love this - he's consistently positive in +/- and is very well-rounded, but I actually think Charlotte will keep him - he's playing 30 mpg right now.
Ughhhhh why haven't we done something to cover Zach and Nurk? Moses Brown? Kenneth Faried? Melo? Just do something. We need depth.
Gallo/Skal combo at PF seems good to me. I mean losing Baze would suck but we have more wings than bigs that can play the 4 that aren’t pure shit.
Meanwhile, Tolliver is shooting 26.3 percent in 7 games. That's not his 3-point percentage, that's his overall percentage. His 3-point percentage is 26.7 %. The players that are scoring well so far are Lillard, Hood, Whiteside, Simons, and Labissiere. Labissiere is young and should be able to play a lot of minutes so I don't know why Tolliver is starting. And why do we need to wait for CJ McCollum to wake up if Simons is already hitting his shots (Simons effective field goal % is 64% and CJ's is 45%). , and could be the better shooting guard now and (on average) forever?
Might as well add another injured big to the mix. Bazemore, Whiteside, Trent, 2020 1st, and 2022 1st for Blake Griffin and Tony Snell. Sign Faried or Noah with the two open roster spots. Guards: Dame, CJ, Simons Wings: Hood, Snell, Hezonja, Little Bigs: Griffin, Faried, Tolliver, Skal, Gasol, Nurk, and Zach
The only big that could get healthy soon is Gasol right? Even then having an old big coming off foot surgery as the answer is pretty questionable. It's mind boggling that Brown is not up with the team right now.
Hold the roster spot as it's not worth paying the luxury tax for a team in the lottery. Reevaluate in 10 games.
