Orlando recieves #5 pick(from heat) Heat recieves future washington 1st future magic 1st future magic 2nd heat have stated, that they don't really want their pick, so they can save more salary, and they want a future pick. the washington 1st has the potential to be exactly how the grizzlies 1st was this year. (#2 pick to detroit) the reason the magic would do it is to either get tj ford or kaman. they would sacrifice the chance to be lucky like how detroit was this year in order to get a potential star center or pg. tell me what u think about that deal? i'll have others later
Good, then if the Magic don't land Owlowakandi, they can get the Pavel 7 foot 5 Russian(who's skyrocketed in all reliable mock drafts since the training camp in Chicago) or if Toronto get him then they can get TJ Ford and he'll answer the PG problems.
you guys should trade your #15 for David Wesley on the hornets. He's more of a scorer than a passer, but McGrady creates his own shot anyways. I think Wesley might be perfect for you guys.

Maybe not the #15, but you probly got something you could give. Wesleys still a good player.
here's another option, hilltop from realgm came up with this <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> the Magic should just move down in the Draft since a few prospects are slipping down to the early 20's. Well here's an idea that might work... Trade Giricek for a higher 1st Round pick, maybe one of Seattle's (12th maybe), and trade our #15 down for a lower 1st (maybe 19-22nd) and an early 2nd. Draft: 12th- Pietrus/Ridnour 19-22nd- Barbosa/Gaines/Sophocles Two 2nd Round picks- Troy Bell/Charlie Villanueva/Kendrick Perkins etc. </div>
I wish Toronto could trade our fourth pick for your pick and a player. Orlando doesnt have much to offer though.
another trade proposal from realgm this time by grady1train <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Orlando trades: Pat Garrity Jeryl Sasser Future First round pick (via Washington) Orlando receives: Etan Thomas Washington's #10 pick Washington trades: Etan Thomas Washington's #10 pick Washington receives: Pat Garrity Jeryl Sasser Future First round pick (via Washington)</div> please give some insight, if you guys think that these 2 deals would be fair? i think they would, but i'm a biased orlando magic fan.
k, do you like any of the trades raptors, because you always make trades, so i need some advice on the trades, not what we should do with the #15 pick, that's what we will do. we will pick a pg and sign a center, we are trying to get 2 picks, so that we can address both of our needs(pg and center) in the draft and then sign backup players to make our bench deeper. so we're trying to come up with trades that would let us address both of our needs.
Every free agent would like to play in a nice city like Orlando..Just do whatever you can to free up space, wait a couple years for big name guys, and try to steal another Grant Hill.lol
If you package the 15 and Gooden you could maybe try to get Eddy Curry, if Chicago does the unthinkable and trades for Shaq. There was a stupid report out that they were trying to do that. Actually nevermind that, thats a ridiculous trade. It;'s hard thinking of Orlando trades.

here's another from abolitionist from realgm <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Orlando Gets: C Nazr Mohammed PG Dan Dickau #37 Draft Pick Cancellation of future 2nd Rd. Pick Debt Atlanta Gets: C Andrew DeClerq G Jeryl Sasser #15 Draft Pick Essentially this is Nazr and the second rounders for #15. Then it's just swapping young, unproven guards. If I'm not mistakn, DeClerq's contract status for this year is a team option. This isn't much diifferent than the team not exercising the option and then signing a center. You'd be addressing the need for quality size and you'd have a few different options to pursue a PG: Free agency, another trade, and/or the second round picks. Not to mention the fact that Dickau has potential. The Hawks need a big guard to pair with JT. Sasser could prove to be that guard and/or whomever the Hawks draft at 15 could prove to be that guard. I think it makes sense for both clubs. What do you think?</div>
The Magic should try to get T.J. Ford just incase they can't resign Armstrong. (even though Armstrong loves playing for the Magic)
it's not likely that the magic will get tj ford, because he will likely go in the top 5 or 6 and we don't have enough to give up to get him. darell is basically resigned already. he probably won't go anywhere.
I dont see why ORLANDO whould do that trade we are trying to get a POINT GUARD like LUKE RIDNOUR, KIRK HINRICH, REECE GAINES, or LEANDRINHO BARBOSA and they are all gone mid first round in the draft. Pluse TJ FORD is not what ORLANDO is looking for we need a big POINT GUARD who can play great defense and his 3pointer.
