    Powell is better than Trent and we get his bird rights, but also, wtf? Two open roster spots. Something else is coming..right?

    Powell isn't a bad player, but we are already jammed in the backcourt.

    This is such a Neil move. Powell is good but he's a FA at the end of the year. And he makes less than Trent and Hood, so we go further under the tax line.

    hes an expiring contract, but has a player option for the next season

    Powell becoming off the bench and better then Trent and Hood on both side of the ball this year he will the bench out a lot.

    Bird rights are more valuable than ever as like 80% of the league is projected to be over the cap this summer. Idk why we would pay Powell and not Trent though. Still, this is an upgrade and frees up minutes for Little..assuming no other moves.
