Yep he turn a second round pick into an asset for upgrade. Bert is probably happy.

If the goal was to get smaller, we somehow found a way to do it!

Yup, but we did get a guy who can consistently make a three when you need it. Gary was hit and miss, Hoodie was mainly miss.

Keep in mind Powell can also play SF in case of injuries. He weighs more than Jones and Covington

He's a better defender than CJ & Dame.

I'm glad Hood is gone though. No more obligation to play one of the worst players in the league. More minutes for Nas, but likely going to go to Powell.

We got rid of one REALLY bad defender and one mediocre one. I'm good with that part of it.

I would seriously think about starting him instead of DJ as we need a wing scorer and he can fill it up. If we are going to play small ball lets do it with a win that can not only score but defend. DJ imo, is an off the bench player.

I'm not angry about this either... Maybe a minor short-term upgrade?

    I would hope so...

Is he significantly better than Trent? I'd lean yes?

better scorer and shooter, guy is shooting almost 44% from 3 and 49.8% overall - way better than Trent JR

also powell wingspan 6'11"" vs GTJ 6'9",maybe can play some SF

Powell is awesome. I was so impressed by him in playoffs. Check out his shooting this season: 8EB5C22B-BF17-47F7-A5C8-2425BAA08789.jpeg

    Powell is better.

But if Powell wants he can leave during summer while we could keep Trent even if he wanted out.

    Powell/Little>>Trent/Hood
