Prediction: Gordon will re-sign with the Bulls

    Yeah, I could definitely live with Barbosa, but I wouldn't take him if it meant we had to take someone like Diaw ($9M in 2010, ouch).

    Gordon's BYC value at $10M would be something like $5M. So we could take back up to $6.5M from the Suns. That'd allow us to accept Barbosa ($6.2M)

    Gordon's coming in to them at his full $10M salary though, so they have to take back at least $7.5M. We have a traded player exception worth a bit over $5M from the Wallace/Smith trade, so we could make it work by taking back Alando Tucker and DJ Strawberry too, I suppose.

    I guess I don't totally hate that, but I don't feel great about it either. I think Gordon is better than Barbosa, but we're getting Barbosa at a really good price.
