    All the tea leaves are pointing this direction.

    The Lakers cleared a max slot.

    Kawhi wanted Magic involved in pitch to join.

    Most free agents have agreed to deals.

    While Kawhi cares for Toronto, they don't have much harm in his delay because they had no cap space anyways. It actually may give them a good feeling of being so close that Kawhi was torn.

    Kawhi is regarded as the best player in the game. He won't be thought of as a role player to LeBron anymore.

    If Kawhi doesn't sign with the Lakers, it really fucks their off-season. They now cannot sign free agents. It would be a total slap in LeBron and Magics face. It would show Magic couldn't close the pitch. It would drastically hurt a final year of LeBron prime, in an almost cruel way.

    Kawhi is signing with the Lakers.
