I liked the way the Bengals looked last night. Palmer seems to be back and ready so if that is the case, the Bengals should have another awesome season. But then again, their schedule is tough so you never know.
Branch is under contract. He can choose to sit out, but he stands to lose a lot of $ this year & more importantly future value when he is on the open market next season after an extended holdout. The reason the Patriots have been successful is they don't handcuff themselves to a few a over priced contracts. They've been a model of consistency & will remain so under BB. I know preseason means very little, but they appear to be doing fine w/o Deion. Which only underscores just how "valuable" he is to the team's success. Now if the Pats struggle early on then you can dust off those pitchforks that you've all been so patiently waiting to stick in us.
