    No, I really didn't.

But as far as Jackson is concerned, 8 of his 14 points came in the 2nd quarter while Morrow was defending him. Then Layman came in for Morrow and immediately shut Jackson down.

Don't get me wrong, he played OK, but he also had 6 turnovers and was a -14 in his time out there. I wouldn't think that torching one of the league's worst defenders for about 5 minutes necessarily portends greatness.

Then what about the guys on here putting Swanigan in the HOF already after scoring in a glorified summer league game last night?

If you want to compare the two, Swanigan played 10 fewer minutes than Jackson, took 2 fewer shots, but made one more, scored 4 more points, pulled down 3 more rebounds, and had 3 fewer turnovers--all while being in a less featured role. Since you brought it up, Jackson's performance clearly paled in comparison to Swanigan's.

If you're going to challenge Blazer fans' love for our rookie forward, come correct or don't come at all.

The only one putting Swanigan in the HOF for scoring is Mrs.... nevermind.

Swanigan made lots of mistakes down low on the defensive end. He'll get much better down the road. That being said, he makes up for some of his mistakes with his offense.

I was thirsty AF at Cirque Du Soleil last Saturday and I reluctantly paid $5 for a 20oz water. The plastic bottle is now inside out and bone dry.

We were at a food truck festival last weekend and all the trucks were selling water for 2 bucks. That's too much but I let the wife buy them.

We got a small bite from a Japanese food truck and she got a water.

I looked at the receipt for 3 fucking dollars and she had to grab me to keep me from throwing it back at them.

Fantastic point. He just gets that shot off so easily now, which makes his pick and roll game that much more effective. On the pick-and-roll you can either give him the 3 (bad idea), give him the floater (bad idea) or allow the dump off to Nurk (bad idea). The only really good option is to sag from the perimeter to create congestion, which is why Turner is such a bad fit with him. Turner hurts spacing while offering little in the way of creation, because Dame has already created. We really need to go with Harkless.

....And no matter what, there's always the pick-and-roll. Stockton and Malone made a career out of that one play. Nurk and Dame do it differently, but there's every reason to think they'll be feasting on this play for a decade.

    Welcome to the Dark Side.

This will happen, but I don't know when. It will take a while for some to realize this.
