I understand that we could be winning much easier if it wasn't for the 3rd team forfeiting big leads but this is unacceptable. They lose an 18 point lead in a few minutes why? If they're that much worse than the other team's 3rd stringers then they don't belong in the league and if they aren't they need to play with some self respect

And if anyone on the mop up unit could shoot he would've had like 4-5 assists. Not bad in 9 minutes.

 

Not sure why I'm wasting my time explaining this to you but: PRESEASON

 

I missed the 4th quarter but it seems like the "closers" are not too focused on D when they get in there with a big lead. They gave up 41 and 32 in the two 4th quarters so far. Either way I am not concerned with it as it is not relevant to the regular season .

Quality takes. I’d add that Caleb needs to start with Harkless and the Big 3. That lineup is a threat to give you a miracle minute every game.

 

fans wanted Nurk to make those threes so badly, their reaction after the misses was great

Nurk will become complete package on offense, Id say he misses only the game with his face to the basket, not sure whats the term for that... but Im not sure well see that from him

Yep and I also think the era of “Dame or CJ plus 4 bench guys” is over. I think we’ll always have two starters in, especially since our front line is so young.

I legit thought this too for a sec like Rice called Hurd on his cell phone and yelled at him to talk about it.

 

Doesn't matter, the starters play to win and so should the 3rd stringers. Saying preseason is like saying in November that it's only November. You play to win, every game, until you make it part of your colture. Be it preseason, regular season or playoffs

 

The Warriors are 0-2 in the preseason. Should they be worried?

 

While I hear you, the one thing this team is not lacking is a winning culture. Dame, CJ, and Nurk's confidence are high right now and the whole squad is feeding off it from the role players to the new solid draft picks. Effort is not going to be an issue this year (except maybe CJ on D).

 

Thought they looked really good overall. Meyers s still a bonehead, but....the rest of the team looks really good!
