I feel like Collins almsot can't play enough at this point because the more playing time he gets the more comfortable and the better he gets. I can't wait to see what he adds to he game over the next few years.

Our garbage-time gang needs a nickname. I suggest "White Flight".

I don't see anything in Bristol that leads me to believe he would do anything to help this team. I literally don't see anything about his game that makes me think he's more than a G League guy. Another way of looking at it is if we are relying on Briscoe being better than Morrow then it doesn't matter anyway the season is lost.

I already gave them one. Za-Briscoe and the Crackers.

I'd love to see Briscoe get a chance to run point with legit players alongside him, and see him on the defensive end guarding a viable NBA PG. IMO, that's the only way he brings value, if he is able to provide an occasional 5 minute stint of bulldog defense on an opposing PG while Dame takes a breather.

Not impressed with starters in this game. This game was against scrubs. Here is one guy's take:
"The Blazers looked sloppy on offense. Few of their 17 turnovers came from defensive pressure. There were careless passes, offensive fouls on post-ups, and travels. Luckily those are pretty fixable problems.
Offensively, Portland ran a few too many isolation plays. They lacked movement from players without the ball. As 8 assists in the first three quarters would suggest, the offense became stagnant."
Didn't think Harkless and Aminu were showing much focus and intensity. One thing I noticed that Blazer guards don't really push it hard when the other steam is not quite set on defense. Never gonna mistake any of them for Westbrook. I blame a lot of this on the coaches; seems as if they have lost their edge. The guy refers to "fixable problems" above; agreed they are fixable but are these coaches really committed to fixing?
Good to see some of the guys on second team playing well and playing together.

That's exactly what I can't figure out. Stotts said again this month that he still believes in that philosophy. Yet I still see our wings flying out at the end to contest the shot, instead of sticking with them in the first place.

Last year everyone complained about the guards and their defense, but I thought the bigger issue was our forwards on the perimeter. And it isn't like Aminu or Hark are jut standing around doing nothing, they appear to be helping out in the post and then be expected to make up ground when the ball swings to their man. Justin Jackson last night had too quick of a release to get there in time. Granted he was only 3-6 from deep, but it isn't like Sacramento has a big that warrants double coverage.

Biggie is almost certainly going to be in the rotation from the start of the season.

Just noticed that Leonard didn't play AT ALL. Should we read anything into that? (Hope springs a turtle.)

Yea he’s not better than any of our front court players.

He’ll have a bunch of DNP-CDs this year. I figure eventually we’ll trade him down the road
