President Thibs! Thibodeau as signs as coach/president of the Timberwolves

Let's hope not, although the same thought passed through my mind.

 

Gar/Pax/Dorf all need to go.

The roster had begun to tune out Thibs at the end of his tenure here though.

 

True but the same management kept this team together far too long. No real changes were made to this team for the last 2 years.

 

If "tune out" means capture the #3 seed in the East and almost knock off the team that made the NBA Finals and took the Warriors to six, yes.

If the team tuned Thibs out, dear lord, what did they do to Freddy Del Hoiberg?

(the narrative has shifted. last season it was thibs fault. now that management has their coach in place, the narrative is the ego of jimmy butler (the best asset on the team))

 

I'd agree with that. Gar and Pax very much lived in the past, not wanting to update the roster, just hoping improved health would make the core great again.

That and their stupid anti-Thib animus contributed to some of the players tuning out Thibs. Minus that, they could have made the hard decision to excise some players and refresh the roster and Thibs might still be here.

Whatever the case about the past, Gar/Pax/Dorf need to go.
