Sure they do. But not on a public forum that has people reading it. even in Sly's own sales pitch he is talking about 10's of thousands of people outside the forum itself. The Blazers Organization cannot take a hit like that. They can't even be accused of taking those kinds of shots. Easier for them to just say "NO".
We're good with the Blazers in terms of the language we use within threads here. If we want to write stuff that appears on nba.com or blazers.com, we will have to write traditionally good stuff.
I know i would love to contribute but because of a few issues i have physically i would not be interested in any public appearance. However if you want some help on some other issue let me know. I also have a career that i do need to attend but any help someone needs to get prepared i would be willing to see what i could do.
I can see the blazers not wanting to do this for whatever reason, but your reasoning is confusing. Writers who nobody reads? Wha?
If what KJ is talking about is that big of a deal I think you could install an optional language filter set on by default or something.
Actually Denny responded and said they were good with what goes down here so i guess it's just me. Sounds like it's no big deal.
Or we can have separate writers... Different points of view. One guy can be your company man who is analytical with little to no bias and you can have the Blazers Uncut writer who is a total Homer and writes on emotion not fact.
Damn. Deep pull, Denny. Well done. Next thing you know KingSpeed's going to be bumping up posts from detailing how he knew Gerald Green shouldn't have lasted to #21 when 'Tell went #6. Then, you might see some colorful language
I see the pros use colorful language from time to time. That may have been an old post, but I'm sure there are plenty of recent ones. I see similar language on blogabull.com all the time
