Internet fanbases are weird as fuck, it's amplified by the fact they have their corner of the web to be an echo chamber like that thread that censors wrongthink. You see it all over the internet with the horrible blogs and message boards.

We're totally not like that though, we're too cool.

Does this mean Lin is gay?

He's in NC, so that could be a problem for him, if he is.

Does he have a girlfriend? If no, then yes he is gay. If yes, he probably has a side boyfriend to cover up the fact that he is gay.

These are the only logical conclusions

I disagree. From reception to layup, he takes a total of four steps. When he catches the ball, his left foot is down. He takes one step and releases the ball to begin his dribble with his right foot down and his left foot up. By the time he completes his one dribble and has two hands on the ball again, his left foot is down and his right foot is in the air. From that point, he takes two steps to complete the layup.

Upon close inspection, I don't think it's a travel at all.

It looked like he took three steps after he picked up the ball.... I shall now send this film off to have it analyzed by a team of experts to determine who is right.

The team is comprised of you, me, and HCP. We will let the forum know our findings after an exhaustive investigation into whether Lin traveled two years ago.

I'll look to see if there was any CIA, Mob, or Cuban involvement and also into the possibility of a second dribbler.

I felt the one by Carmelo was a deliberate attempt to hurt Lin, and should have been a flagrant 2. Probably would only be able to see that on a review. They way the announcers were talking, a lot of these happened over a short period of time.

Part of me is sympathetic. You could easily compile a similar video for Lillard.

Another part of me is saying that yes there is definite racism. Compare Lin's player ranking vs. his all-star votes, and racism is very clear.

So. It's sort of like having a speech at public university that the well scrubbed masses (read mob) don't agree with?

It has nothing to do with racism...its about what teams the NBA wants to win and lose on any given day...its teamism

I really like Jeremy Lin and pull for him in almost every regard. And I really didn't know much about him till I saw that 'Linsanity' documentary. I could easily see why there might be a disconnect between him and other players in the league. But I don't think it's open season him to maim him or anything. You go to the hoop and your going to eat wood, sometimes. Maybe other players think he gets too much hype and just sells a lot T-shirts...... who knows?

I don't know if it's racism but those are awful fouls, esp the Kobe and Melo ones. Damn.

Yeah, and the point is that you could literally put together something similar for almost any player in the league.

The other players are being nice. Hitting him in the junk enough to cause swelling, that's being nice.
