I'm inviting anyone to come in here and tell me that Kobe is selfish or that he has no leadership.

Incredible game by the Lakeshow. FINALLY...guys stepping up...and how many times have I said that Kobe is not to blame? When our guys start hitting shots, moving off the ball (which was great, by the way), and running smooth transitions...we are amazing.

Is this the night the Lakers turn themselves around??? Please, please let it be.

This is just a case where one team showed up and played like a true team, and the other didn't.

Kobe is playing well and he finally got a solid game from his supporting cast especially from Lamar. By the way, that baseline dunk by Kobe was nasty!

Great game by Kobe, 10-17 shooting 12 dimes 6 boards, pretty damn good. LO was even on fire as well.

Can anyone tell me if the Kings were playing defense at all though? The whole Lakers team shot good percentages, sounds a little fishy.

Dag missed the first half and another spectacular dunk by Kobe. But hey way to go Lakers and finally Odom coming to the format offensively. I did get to see when they first announced that Charles would get to sit down and talk to Kobe. Then Chuck said I'll just reach over the table and slap the hell outta him. Hahaha that was some funny ish.

Hey, where are the haters on this thread. Guess the Lakers won this time...Im telling you, this is the way this board is! When the Lakers win convincingly, its just us Lakers fans talking about the game. When we lose, Laker Haters everywhere TROLLING the board....

Great win by the Lakers. If everyone can play with this much intensity the lakers will win more games.

Repeating some of what i said in the kings forum, this game looked like a bad team playing poorly (kings) and a good team playing really well(lakers).LA looked like they came ready to play a good team while SAC looked like they forgot there was a game tonight. It might as well have been steve nash guarding kobe because doug christie couldnt do anything to even bother him.Check the next edition of slam magazine for kobe posterizing doug christie. Also, the lakers shot REALLY well from all parts of the floor. However,i saw ALOT of jones and cook knocking down wide open 3's.Give them credit for making them pay.Discredit the Kings for not showing up to play.Lastly,Webber shot well from the floor but why did he only play 29 minutes? He only grabbed 4 rebounds, last meeting he had 16 boards. All in all this game was pretty lopsided.

Easily the Laker's best game of the year. Kobe and Lamar were amazing, and the Laker's played good defense. Good job.

For all the Lamar haters, the reason he doesn't show offensively is cause he's only averaging about 10 shots a game... kinda hard to get alot of poitns off 10 shots...

This game the Lakers did great, espeically Kobe. Kobe should pass alot more, it does the team good. If he can create a 1-2 punch with Odom, then the Lakers will be hard to stop.

Wait...stop the press !!! Where are the Kobe haters now? He has a good game, played how he has played all year (except shot really well) and the other Lakers actually hit their shots and all of a sudden the haters shut up...I love it...

Kobe didnt play any diff. last night than he has all year, dished in the 1st half, took over in the 2nd while continuing to dish it...the only reason it looks like he played diff is because the other Lakers actually hit their shots...

And lets hope we see this kind of production from Odom from now on, he had a great game...lets not spoil it and tease laker fans with it, be consistent with it...

    Rivalry?

Quoting whatthef?:

just when we're ready to bury this team, they surprise us laker fans, kinda like the end of the movie Carrie! the Quings have all five starters back, sixthman, and coach and should be the best team in the Pacific, you have no idea how much I hate to say it but it's true, but somehow, Cook hits a three at the buzzer and Lakers win 89-88.

I am proudly wearing my Laker colors in Sactown today! Maybe it took Weber to wake up Odom, we need play like this from him every night. Kobe's dunk was awesome! I'm ready for Shaq today, hopefully we can build on this win and finish the month strong. [IMG]

KOBE IS SUCH A FPWNEDBALLHOG!! Dude he had 12 assist, and early on in the game he had 21 points on only 12 shots. God what is wrong with you Kobe? Learn how to be a TEAM LEADER. Get your teammates involved you moron. Don't take so many shots (17? Which he made 10) Kobe is just selfish, the only way he can win games is if his teammates win the games for him, like Lamar Odom. [IMG]

Oh wait, oh my god. No way. How many assist did Mike Bibby have? 2 assist? Man Doug Christie had more than that, with 7. I seriously don't know why Bobby Jackson isn't a starter. [IMG] He frickin' owns, well, he's the best on the King's squad next to Stojakovic.

That was a nice victory, the Lakers played very well tonight. As you can see the fans in the Arco Arena made hardly any noise in the second half. What happened to one of the loudest stadiums last night?

BTW, that baseline reverse from Kobe was sick. And let's not forget Lamar's left hander... man, he took some huge steps to get to the rim there.

Very Very good game by the Lakers tonight but I have to say that I will not believe it till I see it again. The Lakers have a history of Kobe having these on National TV games were hes passing the ball and scoring alot, than its a different story the next game.

What are you talking about in those first couple paragraphs? For one, 17 shots is not a whole heck of a lot. If you want to talk about a person who jacks up shots like there is no end, than lets talk about AI. And just a thought, you don't get 7 apg by being a ballhog. I'm not sure if you realize this, but he is getting others involved. He may be averaging 20 shots per game, but he's getting people involve. That's why the Lakers are getting 4-5 people hitting double figures each night on a consistent basis. Also, when your entire starting 5 is getting double figures, that's another way you can tell you have ball distribution. So to say Kobe doesn't get others involved is total, utter crap. Maybe if he was getting 30+ ppg, than we could say he's not involving others, but he's not. He may be getting his 28 or so per game, but that doesn't mean anything. He is keeping players involved. If he wasn't, he'd be rattling off a lot more ppg than what he is right now.

Kobe still needs to learn how to make his teammates better on a consistent basis, and learn to be unselfish all the time...

1 game he'd get 26 points and 9 assists and Lakers would win. Another night Kobe would go 10 for 26 with like 34 points and Lakers lose, while none of Kobe's teammates get into double digits b/c none of them had taken more than 10 shots. I.E against Seattle...

If Kobe would play the right way all the time, the Lakers will be a solid team.

    Lakers @ Seattle...

    Kobe Bryant - 12/23, 52% shooting, 35 points, 9 boards, 5 assists
    Caron Butler - 6/12, 50% shooting, 16 points, 7 boards, 0 assists

    Tierre Brown - 2 assists
    Chucky Atkins - 3 assists

So...nobody scored in double digits? Oh, and let's blame Kobe for racking up such a low number of assists...I can't believe how pathetic he really is! [IMG]

Kobe pretty much tanked this game...full blame goes to...ding ding ding! Kobe Bryant.

Well, congradations go out to the Lakers for a great win over my Kings last night. The Lakers were simply the better team, and i give my props out to the team for FINALLY beating a top rate Pacific conference team.

The Kings made some very simple mistakes, and the Lakers got on them, and played great Ball...esp Kobe's effort.

So congrat's to the Lakers for the win.
