The Raptors coming off a huge upset against the defending champs, should have all the confidence in the world. The Blazers are a very solid team and they have a very good frontcourt,if they come to play I bealive the Blazers are the bettr ball club.Derek Anderson should do an ok job defending VC,while the intresting matchup will be Z-Randolph going head to head against Chris Bosh.Randolph is capable of putting up 20 and 10 every game, while Bosh is developing into that type of player, right now Bosh is a big part of the Raptors 2-0 record and we'll see how he plays against a player like Randolph. I say Blazers 94-Raptors 88.
blazers are playing on what feels like 9:30 am there local time , so they'll be really tired ,, raps should trounce them 105-92 ... vince goes off for 34pts
If the Raps are going to win Vince is going to have to start scoring. Raptors get the win in a close one
Raptors win!!! Vince with the dagger at the end. Vince finally had a good game scoring wise (I told you ) with 25 points. I believe this is the best start in franchise history.
101-97, vince with the clutch game winning shot. our bench did really well. bosh and woods didnt do well but our bench really came through.
We start 3-0 for the first time in franchise history. Unlike other fans of Vince, I don't care if Vince isn't consistent for all quarters while not putting up monster statistics, as long as he dominates at the right time, and he did just that in crunch time today.
Vince was clutch today. 9 Points in the final 4 minutes and 28 seconds, and the biggest shot being his 3 point shot with 4.8 seconds left. On a day when Woods and Bosh didn't have their best overall games, we still managed to win, with 40 bench points from the likes of Marshall, Peterson, Murray, Palacio and Bonner. Even though Randolph owned them inside...The Raps still played a good game and ended up with the W.
Sick game for the starting backcourt, Rose and the bench. I think Woods and Bosh were just outmatched by Randolph and Ratliff... that block by Ratliff hurt I was looking forward to Bosh stuffing him again but hey it's cool, the Raps win!!

We are tied for the 1st place in Eastern Conference with the Pacers I believe.
Rafer tore it up 6-9 shooting, 16 points, 8 assists, and 3 rebounds. Hey portland who's your daddy? Im just so happy the raptros are doing well, for once im not hating Milt Palacio, and Lamond Murray is actually helping off the bench. We have a great bench this year and a great overall team, hopefully this changes Vince's decision.
First of all, what's with the low attendance? The Argos were the excuse last game so what's the excuse for this one? Very exciting game today. The fade-away three pointer with a guard all over him is not kind of shot we wanted from Carter at that point in the game, but he had the hot hand and it went in, so we got very lucky on this one. Although we came out with the win, I'm not all too impressed. Our front court was clearly exposed and teams are going to exploit it for the rest of the season. I think we're going to have trouble competing with the more athlete front courts like this one. On the bright side our bench is playing absolutely great, but we can't always rely on them to bail us out like in the past two games, Vince had a great game (10for16 with 25pts), Jalen was solid (although he did take a few questionable shots), and Marshall is getting back to how he used to play last season. We really need prepare for our tough games against Sac-town and Utah. Oh yah and that Ratliff block on Bosh was just nasty.... he must've been still pissed at being posterized last season by CB.
who cares how much vince scores as long as we get the win i would have no problem if we win a game and vince only has like 2 points as long as we win
everyone keeps predicting losses, and we keep winning. keep up with predictions yall one stat i really think sticks out is rafer with 8 dimes and 0 turnovers. big up rafer, he's doing a great job at the point bosh with a rough day at the office. not too worried though...z-bo seems to just own him everytime raps score over 100pts for the 2nd straight game. vince with a breakout game offensively and with the CLUTCH CLUTCH CLUTCH shots. big up vince raps lookin really really good. lovin the new offense
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting arhieboy:</div><div class="quote_post">Good job Vince, nice shot over ratliff.</div> Huh? Vince didn't shoot over Ratliff. He shot over Nick Van Exel after doing a drive-fake and pulling up for a fade-away three.
Finally, my boy skip is getting some recognition. He is more than capable of the starting job. Jalen is good and is playing well at SF, Bosh had a horrible game but will do better. I got a question why is Zach Randolph called Z-Bo?

I thought after the Raps beat the Pistons on Friday at least 18000 will show up for this one but no.. even fewer attendance today.. Oh well it'll be full house when the Raps return from the road trip I hope.. Vince had no choice but to shoot that three and he knew he could make it. Game clock was ticking down and the shot clock was almost down to 2 seconds when he released the shot. Vince has been clutch for the past three games, so if I were Rafer Alston or Sam Mitchell I'd have made the same choice to put the ball in Carter's hands. True, the Jazz and the Kings have strength advantage over the Raptors front court with Jazz having Mehmet Okur and Carlos Boozer and the Kings with Chris Webber and Brad Miller, but I believe Bosh and Woods can get it done against them as they have done against Yao Ming and the 2-Wallaces. And don't forget, if one of them struggles, we still have Aroujo to come off the bench and provide some physical presence. Bosh will get Ratliff back. It's a tie match now 1-1 and the next time they meet, which is Saturday Nov. 13th, he'll give Ratliff a facial. This guy has an incredible self-motivation so look out Theo!
