BTW- Kobe's parents did not disown him. That was a tabloid story, and from what I hear, they are actually supporting Kobe now.. And are you denying that Sam Cassell is one ugly piece of crap alien look-alike? Can this argument just end right now please?
First off, I'm very happy to see that my preview thread was very busy while I was gone.. I want to talk about Kobe's injury. And I want to know...would anybody volunteer to stick their hand through a glass window? I mean, how ridiculous and stupid is that? Hey Kobe, glass is something that you shouldn't be messing with. Especially when you stick your hand in it by accident. Now you're back on the IL for another week. Nice thinking Kobe....we really needed you in this very important ballgame and you screwed up big time. Now on to the game: The Lakers were playing pretty well. They held the lead comfortably for three whole quarters and we just collapsed in the final quarter with a 33-18 slump. OUCH!! One of the bright spots was O'Neal scoring 22 points. It just shows us fans that he's shaking off the rust. I was really disappointed with Gary's performance. 10 pts? How will we win the game by just 10 pts from our point guard? I won't even talk about Devean George...maybe Laker fans should start a petition by saying PLEASE PHIL, BENCH DEVEAN GEORGE!!! Maybe that'll wake Phil up a bit. Once Fox is 100% healthy again, he should definitely be the starter. As for Minnesota, their Big Three just completely dominated us in that final quarter. Cassell, Sprewell, and Garnett. I give a lot of credit to them, they're a very good team. But with a revamped team that Minnesota has, can they really get past the first round? Only time will tell.
