The Lakers beat the Spurs and the refs in this game. I thought the comments and the protest were classless by the Spurs. Talk about crying over spilt milk, just congratulate the Lakers for dominating you the entire game and hitting a miracle shot to win it. The one-sided officiating is the only reason the Spurs were even allowed to get back into this game. Those whistles went quiet for the 4th quarter and the refs missed several OBVIOUS foul calls on the Spurs, spanning from reach in fouls, over the back, grabbing Kobe's jersey while he was shooting. I'm not one to use it as an excuse, because I realize it's part of the game, but anyone watching this game can clearly see the refs favored the Spurs and gave them the momentum to get back into this game. The Lakers should have won this game by at least 20 points.

I Don't pay attention to fans of other team's cryin foul when there teams lost

I Know there's a lot of Kings fans who believe in 2001 that the Lakers "paid off" the refs so the Lakers can come out of top

That's a crock in my opinion

The Kings lost to the Lakers, because The Lakers were the better team

Stupidity of fans for saying that kinda crap, just like the spurs are saying make sportsfans look like fools!

Much respect for that. You are a one of the only Kings fans I know who can admit the Lakers were the better team and the refs were not paid off. I agree, I cannot stand fans who blame the game on the refs. I just thought it was ironic the Spurs were the ones complaining and filing protests, when they were the team getting the favorable calls.

Remember that it isn't the Spurs players who are filing this protest. It was higher up than that. These players are still class players.

Spurs management tried filing a protest, that is a very classless and immature move by them. The Lakers won that game fair n square. It was a great game though, best game I have ever seen.

Although I do have on complaint, How the hell did we let a 16 point lead slip away? I understand we were on the road and the fans were roaring, but 16 points is a lot. I am looking for the Lakers to come in tomorrow and just clean house.

Potatoe, potato it's coming from the Spurs franchise, encompassing the coaches, players and the waterboy. Top it off with people throwing garbage onto the court. [IMG]

LA should've had more than .4 seconds anyway. Spurs didn't really do their research on this one.

Yep, but either way, he still got the shot off in time. nMg posted that in the Spurs thread about it being possible to get it off in 3 tenths of a second with that Baron Davis shot. Ya'll remember that?

Thanks...I'm just telling the truth here [IMG]

Stupidity of sports be it in Baseball,Football,Hockey, and Basketball from the Fans making excuses for their teams is the norm these days, and fans who do this type of crap, just make sports look bad...peroid

There's always gonna be somebody who will blame the refs on why there team didn't do well...it's best to just ignore that type of crap, and move on...the truth is the truth, and some people will NEVER except it!
