Well we just disagree about what sort of value Outlaw has...I consider him to be average, not above average...and I think that if he wasn't on the team, that there wouldn't be any negative effect on the team in the W\L column...

I disagree that Outlaw is better than Webster, and Webster would have started over Outlaw if he had not been injured...Outlaw appears to be better than he is, because he is a scorer...a very inconsitent scorer but he isn't afraid to jack up shots, that doesn't make hima "good" player though...I think Webster does a lot of the other things better than Outlaw (defend, rebound) but that is for another debate...and next year there WILL be a problem as there are not enough minutes for Outlaw, Webster and Batum to all play, unless you want Outlaw to play b\u PF instead of a "banger type" which I think this team sorely needs...

And I disagree that Rudy couldn't "take" minutes from Outlaw, yes he would struggle to play SF, I agree with you on that point, but I don't think that is how he would be utilized...I think you would see A Roy\Rudy combination where Roy guards the opposing SF...Now would this be something that I would recommend every night? Certainly not...but against certain teams it would be a more effective combination tham an Outlaw & Roy pairing....Rudy's game IQ is off the charts compared to Outlaw, and I do think that makes a difference....

    Hello darkness, my old friend
As I said, he's average. To have 12 BETTER players, you'd need 12 above average players. Not possible.

That's all Webster is, too, except he's worse at scoring. Outlaw is inconsistent, Webster was usually invisible. Outlaw can create his own shot, Webster can't. Webster, IMO, is overrated by some because he looks good shooting. He looks like a good basketball player. But, so far, he hasn't actually been a good basketball player. He's been a bigger Steve Kerr with a worse shot. A pure spot-up shooter.

I don't overrate Outlaw, as far as I'm concerned. He's an inconsistent scorer, nothing more. But doing that, he produces roughly average value. Webster doesn't even do that. Maybe Webster will break out next year, but so far he's produced three below average seasons.
