I perfer Fifa too. I like the faster more arcade life feel. I just hope they don't make it like UEFA. -Petey
Yes, when the deal ends with EA Sports' FIFA series next year. The league can either go one way or both.
I wish PES had all the leagues in the world and players. That would make it the best in the world without a doubt.
Just search on Google. There are loads of sites with different mods, but I highly suggest having the PC version of the PES game you want to mod. While you can modify the console versions, it can be difficult and could even damage your game or the console itself. The PC stuff has no issues because you don't need to hack your console and it runs cleaner. Also, I actually posted a Russian Premier League mod in the Russian football thread.
Yeh mods are only available for the PC, but they are pretty good. I remember i had Pes 3 and i had all the modern kits up till i stopped playing it when Pes 6 came out lol and i could still probably get all modern Kits and team Info and such. I had all the Pes' for PS2 still though I just liked to play online against a friend Also M21 the licence will just be bought right back by EA i Methinks
It looks like the best they have done in years but..... the good points in that were the videos graphics, the gameplay wasn't that impressive, it will force Fifa to improve slightly.
I donno about you, but I prefer PES' realism over the arcade-like and robotic feel of FIFA. There is no flow in FIFA games, which is what turned me to PES.
FIFA 09 FTW! I really hate PES, when people say FIFA isn't realistic then you didn't play FIFA 08 because that was VERY realistic and the set up is way better on FIFA then PES.
I own both PES 2008 and FIFA 08. I tend to buy both titles every year as well, but it is becoming more and more obvious to me that PES is the better playing game. FIFA's running-on-rails game play (you probably don't know what that is anyway), no flow and poor dynamics make it very unrealistic. I don't like the way the ball moves around the pitch and the AI is moronic. As for PES, the only issue the previous game had was slagging replays, which FIFA has anyway, and a poor online mode. I never play online, so I could care less. To those that are fan boys of the FIFA series, take no offense. I will end up playing the new game anyway as I always like to compare new titles. I just won't be buying it day one and will opt for a rental this time.
My friend has PES 2008 and my other friend has FIFA 08 and to me FIFA 08 just looks right and its perfect the way they move and how they do tricks on the pitch to get by their opponent is just better then it is on PES 2008. I will see both games before I buy one. But to me FIFA 09 so far looks way better.
