They're mounting, and I think they need to do something. First, the long ball. Where is it? There's a really good chance that McNabb's injury prevents him from throwing the long ball. He said that it hurts most when he's throwing across his body, and to fully get behind a ball you do need to cross your body somewhat. If that's the case, McNabb needs to go. He already can't throw while running outside the pocket, which was his strength. All these things combined, you can understand why it's difficult to run the ball. I know the Eagles aren't running enough, but everytime they do, it seems to blow up immediatly. Bottom line, without the quick release or deep threat of the Eagles QB, it becomes much easier to shut down. I hate to say it, but I think McMahon is the better option. The reason why the Eagles are "overrated" is simple. They have immense talent, but the keystone is lacking. McNabb is missing, and I know McMahon is nothing to McNabb, but maybe he can get his surgery and be back for the playoffs. I don't know the situation, because I'm not McNabb, or Andy Reid.
