Since 1999, myself and a good friend built this site up. A few months ago, there was a core of idiots that intentionally destroyed this site with disruptive posts and by constant complaining to the webmaster with LIES. The webmaster sided with them and they, all the sudden, left for another bulletin board site. One of the webmaster's administrators created his own site and secretly recruited these backstabbers behind the webmaster's back while instructing his follwers to disprupt these boards and they did a great job of doing that.

I am not mad at the webmaster here, but I best not see maggots like Cowboy71 come back here.

Welcome to the new and improved <left blank>!

"Treason is just a matter of dates..." I can't remember which movie that was in, but it was a good quote. [IMG] They had their chance, but it is our time now. We have chosen to walk away and post in peace. Something they will never understand.

Wow. Didn't realize I was so famous (or is that infamous). I find it odd that I am the one singled out and really wasn't ever one to fire any big shots at him. Oh well. Maybe he doesn't know who he is mad at, so he's taking random shots. Thanks for the warning ROTR, but I can't say I won't chase the bait.

It wasn't just you Cowboy, other threads mentioned other names. But this was a surprise. Anyone who left got shot at. I agree with not shooting back though. What's the point?

I wondered where everybody went. I knew there was some bad blood between some folks. Good to chat with you guys again.
Cowboy71, who do you think the Boys' will draft? I think it will be a corner if one is there. Mario Edwards left and I'm not sure about Pete Hunter. Running back in the second round. Hambrick becomes a fullback this year. Larry Allen isnt going anywhere after all(dammit). I read that Curt Warner is getting the axe after June 1 so I wonder if he would be willing to play for the veteran minimum to stay in the league. I hear he is a cancer in the locker room though. What do you think about the rest of our division this year? I think its the same old redskins trying to buy a championship, the eagles go as mcnugget goes, owens or not, the giants are, weeeelllll, they're the giants so who knows? Well gotta go, later guys.

Is that you Tuna? Good to have another Cowboys here. I've been missing you guys. From what I have heard, Pete Hunter could be the guy if he has to. I don't know whether I agree with that, but that's what I have heard. I think the first round pick will come down to who is available. With Dillon going to NE, there is a faint chance that Stephen Jackson could drop to Dallas. If that happens, there is a chance they could take him. If he doesn't, I'm guessing we wait to pick up a RB in the second. I have to rethink my guesses, but I would be looking at a G/T Carey, RB Jackson, or one of the CBs like Robinson or Gamble. A good DT may slip in there if they drop from the top 20. I think those are the 3-4 positions, and we may just take the best available when the time comes. I can't imagine coming out of the third round without a RB, CB, and a G or T. I don't see Warner unless he comes dirt cheap. I do see Vinny a Cowboy after June 1 as a backup tho.

The Eagles are following the Redskins a little, although they are smarter about it. I don't see the Redskins as killers, though I think we may have trouble chasing Portis around twice a year. And like you said, the Giants are the Giants. They could be in the cellar or in the NFC championship....no one ever knows.

    Stop back.

Yep its me, good to talk to you folks again. Shaping up to be an exciting weekend for all of us NFL freaks eh? Steelerfan one mock draft I saw has you guys taking a QB with the 11th pick, Philip Rivers from North Carolina State, anything to that? The Bus is 34 so a young set of legs could be nabbed at #11. Although, most everybody agrees this isnt a draft deep in backs with HOF potential. Well if I was going to choose someone to build a team it would be Bill Cowher for sure. He builds teams that wont quit whether the score is 70 to nothing for them or 70 to nothing against them. He gets the most out of the players he has in other words, the hallmark of a great coach.

I guess I am going to change my earlier view and say we get a RB, either the Jones kid or Chris Perry since the Pats traded for Corey Dillon. Parcells talked to Perry on the phone the other day and Perry said he was shocked by how much Parcells knew about him. Parcells probably didnt even tell him half of what he really knew! Later guys!

I hope we take D'Angelo Hall or Daunta Robinson with our first pick. Rivers isn't worthy of #11 overall. I hope Cowher can continue to develop talent as well. He's been there for 13 seasons, hopefully he'll get us a ring.

As for Dallas, I did hear that they were leaning towards Perry. I hope it all works out. He seems to be a good back in a weak running back group.

Once again, great to see you. Thanks for stopping by, I hope you become a regular.

I think it was Jackson that was shocked.

Maybe it was both. Regardless, I think a lot of people out there share your views that Dallas is going to go after Perry. I'm just not sure whether he is a #22 pick or not. If Dallas wasn't so needy, he would probably go in the second round early to mid, so I hate to reach. But we do have to have someone to run the ball next year, and I don't think Andersen can last the whole year as the feature back lol.

I think Dallas made a mistake not getting a RB in either free-agency or through a trade. Duce, or Corey Dillon would have been perfect. Bill Parcells will most likely coach for only 2 more years. I cant help but this that with this lack of RB talent will really hold them back next year. You cannot expect a rookie to come in and produce right away, it's just not realistic.

I am sure that the best athlete on the board when we pick will be taken because Jerry learned his lesson the previous 5 or so years when he was taking blind chances on hitting a home run and winning a championship. It blew up in his face and now we are about to crawl out of the deep hole he dug and with Parcells around I dont think he will make the same mistakes again. Of course we have so many needs that we are bound to find some help somewhere down the line this weekend. Parcells has found many jewels deep into the second day of the draft, Curtis Martin is a good example since he was taken by Parcells in the third round. Bill has been in his "bunker" now since we got booted out of the playoffs and dont think for a minute he has been in there playing tiddlywinks. In the locker room after we lost in the playoffs Parcells swore to the team that "he would not rest until he improved the team" and that "every position would be subject to upgrade." We shall see.

If you look at it from the way that Parcells wants to win now, you are right. Fortunately for us fans, Parcells is building the program up long-term, not trying to win it all this year. We are not a Superbowl team, or even one piece away from it. New England getting Dillon makes sense. Dallas getting him, not as much.

Dallas was given a setback with the performance and direction of Larry Allen last year and this year so far. However, I still think they are on track to be a pretty powerful team in 2005.

Parcells doesn't settle for second best. If he can win it all now, he will. But he is also one to look at the big picture. He will continue to build a program that will be good for years to come, but win while he's doing it with superior coaching and getting the best out of each player. That is why Jerry Jones went after him.
