Not ever the coaches fault according to Al. Especially, since the NYR have a long history of hiring fantastic coaches who know how to get the most out of their players.

It's like the moron Giants fans who kiss every move Reese makes. Reese probably is the luckiest GM in the history of professional sports. His drafts have sucked for the most part. He's an incompetent buffoon acquiring extra draft picks. Yet, whenever he doesn't do this according to our fans, it's because nobody wanted any of our players or it didn't make sense to trade down during the draft.

Marcus Power, third in the Quebec in scoring is not signed or drafted. Plays on a crappy offensive team also. Wouldn't mind seeing the Rangers sign this kid.

Forgot this board had an ignore feature. Just added a troll to it. Have to use that more often.

i did it with Cagedlion, whose constant whining and negativity was painful to read. Great tool.

Prospects have been a little quiet the past few games. Tambellini how has 15 G and 29 points in 22 games. He has to pack on at least 15 pounds next season.

Suck luck for the rangers as word out of Quebec is that duclair got concussed friday night. No word on how severe. Good news on Buchnevich as he seems to be coming along nicely in the khl and one of the top teenage scorers(for whatever thats worth) there. Sounds like he is a bit of an agitator but at 6'1" and 161lbs he is built like a heavy skeleton and better get into some weight training if he is gonna be an instigator in addition to a scorer.

Another person's view of a recent game involving brady Skjei which sounds good also.

DVRed it and just watched the last 50 minutes or so. LOVED Skjei's game. Skating was as good as I remembered it from the WJC - but his aggressiveness and physicality (he CRUSHED a couple of guys up against the boards) both appear to be increasing. I can totally see the comparisons to McDonagh.

Fast and Miller with both a goal and 2 assists yesterday. McIlrath 1 A. Fast has 26 points in 34 games. He has really picked it up. Nieves had 2 A. I almost fell over in disbelief. Duclair still out.

It's hard to believe the stupid Devils have Larsson in the minors. If I was another team, I'd be all over trying to steal that guy from old fart Lou who clearly has lost it.

Miller with 1 G 3 A last night. 33 points in 28 games. Joke he's in the AHL and Boyle still plays for us. Borque now has 17 G. I don't consider him a legit prospect but nice to see the kid have a breakout year for him. Fast scored his 12th. Nieves had 1 G and 2 A last night. Now 5 points in his last 2 games. It's a miracle.

On January 2, 2014, the Rangers rewarded Duclair for his impressive season with an entry-level contract, which means at the end of his QMJHL season, the 18-year-old could join either the Rangers or Wolf Pack for the remainder of the regular season and playoffs.

Did not know this happened. That ELC means he can start next season in the ahl and not have to go back to juniors. Hopefully recovers quickly from concussion and gets in to a good weight training regimen this summer and puts on 15 to 20 pounds of muscle. Who knows maybe he is a possibility if this happens as early as next year. Stranger things have happened.

I think he starts in the ahl. He is too raw. Let him get top minutes in the AHL as I don't see a spot for him in top 9 next year.

He still isn't back from his concussion. They are probably just saving him for the playoffs at this point and are resting him.

Prospects have been quiet lately. Farm is pretty bare. Especially with Nieves having a crap season and the organization not having any first or second round picks last year.

Fast had 2 goals, 1 A now. Now up to 15 goals. He has really come on since he got healthy. Lindberg had a SH goal, Miller 1 A, Kristo 1 G 1 A.

Miller, Fast and Lindberg are the next wave. All can skate extremely well with 2 way games. Figure, Boyle, D. Moore and Richards out next year along with Straldope.

    Kreider-Stepan-St. Louis
    Nash-Brassard-Zucc
    Hagelin-Miller-Fast
    Pouliot-Lindberg-Dorsett/FA

    McDonagh-Girardi
    Staal-Klein
    Moore-McIlrath

Hope Duclair makes it but they won't put him on the roster because he is so young.

Tambellini 1 G 2 A in this playoff game. Now 4 points in 2 games. Playing our goalie prospect Skapski. A few people starting to talk about stay at home defenseman prospect Ryan Graves as being a guy who has improved a ton. Worth paying attention to.

There is ZERO chance that is the lineup next season dump...ZERO. Not sure why you keep saying that. NO WAY this team will be WAY under the cap, which is what we would be if we let Richards go and simply filled the holes with all kids. They will add a big FA forward to your lines above. 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000% they do that.

Brass on the 2nd line, and a 3rd line with two unproven kids has NO chance of happening dump...none.

Chuck, you have no clue about anything you are talking about. I usually don't listen to you. Boyle, D. Moore, Richards and Stralman are all gone. If you think Sather is going to go out in a crappy FA market and fill all those spots with idiotic role players who cost too much that will block productive, 2 way players in the AHL for us, you are beyond delusional. Brassard is a UFA as well. There is a very good chance for all 4 of those players to make the squad. Fast and Miller almost made the team this year. I think they are locks already to make the team. I see no reason McIlrath won't be the 6th defenseman and Lindberg the 4th line center.
