Barron two goals today against Providence which is one of the best teams in the AHL who the Ranger seem to play every other day. Eleven games seven goals and three assists he’s just too good to keep down there much longer. Reunanen 2 assists. Ronning a goal He now has four goals in five games good for him he’s not given up.

Wonder what he's doing differently or did he commit to fitness and get stronger. A PPG in the AHL is pretty good even though it's just 6 games.

Yep. He's got a lot of upside. Good size and all around game. Much like Keane.

Yes. He’s 20 next month and 6’2” 182 so size is there but man we are loaded with d men. Gorts and jd needs to really concentrate this draft on centers as that’s the position we are woefully lacking in. Or maybe trade a young d man or 2 for young centers in someone’s system

Looks like Schneider and Robertson are off to really good starts in juniors.

OK this is getting interesting now. Ronning had two goals and an assist today and he now has six goals and three assists in seven games. Barron had a goal and an assist. Ronning seems to have found his game that he had in juniors.

Jones will be playing in the Frozen 4. Ciccolini would've on a loaded Michigan team but they had to back out.

Man, such a wasted, unecessary pick of Lindbom, when they could've had another C in the system like Jack Drury, Ryan McLeod or Akil Thomas. Really dumb stuff from Clark and JG.

Look at the rest of that draft. Lundkvist from all accounts is another Fox type. Less passing, heavier shot. They took Miller which looks like a steal. We'll see about Kravtsov. They took Keane in the third and dealt him for Gauthier. Pajuniemi looks promising. They hit on a lot of picks in that draft.

Yeah it does look really good overall but just given the shortage of C in the system i wish they'd gone in that direction, or just not reach for a G there.

Pack beat the crap out of the lousy Islander farm system again. Ronning 2 assists now 11 points in 8 games that is incredible to see his improvement. Barron with an assist, Reunanen 2 assists, Gettinger 3g 1 A now 11 points in 14 games. Watching the pack players Gorton better get rid of Howden, Rooney, Di Giushitty, Smith and maybe Blackwell at the deadline. Even if it’s for late round picks

Good trade bait. He'll never play a game here. You can't win cups with three, 5'11 defenseman on your team. Just check the cup winning defenses. Usually one guy 6 feet or under.

I know we’ll be making trades at the draft but I hope gorts makes a move or 2 at the deadline moving some spare parts so Barron can play the last 10 to 15 games. Really looking forward to seeing this kid.

I think Blackwell played his way into staying. I think Howden, and Rooney go. Gauthier and Barron play. Maybe on a line with Kravtsov. Size and speed on the 4th line with talent. They keep Di Giushitty around to expose at the expansion draft. he's useless and won't play over Barron. Quinn who should have been fired two weeks ago simply needs to be ordered to not play Di Giushitty any more.
