The only way my post is incorrect is NO republican has been involved in a destructive protest. Charlottsville was a pretty simple example to prove that republicans have indeed been involved. Those that participate or promote violence during protests are indeed idiots and it's not selective by party affiliation. All sides have their issues and not thinking so is being foolish.
Well, there is the white supremacist that cut the throats of three people killing two of them. And then there's the white supremacist that ran a woman down in his car. And then there's the white supremacist who shot 9 African-Americans in a church in Charleston, S.C. I think that counts as extreme violence by the Right.
Hard to imagine why anyone would gather to do battle with Antifa. I would rather see them shrivel from neglect in their tracks.
They both deserve laughter and derision. Although I do suspect both sides could use some counseling too. They are people.
Not really. I just, you know, quoted source material from the parties involved. Like, you know, journalists probably should.
So if I say on my website I'm Jesus, any article about me should say "barfo, who is Jesus, did xyz..." barfo
My father used to say that folks who work hard are just too damned tired to go out and cause trouble at the end of the day....that and I've never had a job that allowed me to skip work to protest in the streets...I'd be jobless the next day.
I always wanted to be a hippie and protest lots of issues but my pursuit of an education, the Army and my job, in pursuit of that education, got in the way. I also got addicted to my daily shower. My cousin, the drug addict and holder of frequent and varying jobs, did none of the above. We used to be like twin brothers but now I haven't spoken to him in decades. If he would just get a shave, a haircut and a job I'd be ecstatic.
If people want to protest they should go to City Council meetings or public meetings with community leaders...ours here happen at the library usually..you get to ask questions to people who make decisions instead of just obstructing traffic and pouring fire on gunpowder
