The flies are for seasoning, and they add protein. Don't hate, relate... Plus, you'll have to mash your own 'taters, Pops.
No use explaining to somebody that doesn't understand. I learned my lesson when trying to explain the PER and USG correlation statistics to you. It's a lost cause. But you're truly a "stats guy"! STOMP will be please to know that you consider him an "expert".
4 down, 6 to go. YOU CAN DO IT! He won't read it because he has me on ignore. Him no likey being challenged. At least you take the time to read posts.
That's because your posts are entertaining, PapaG. I love them. It is like watching a train wreck. It is cringe inducing, yet I need to see where the disaster ends up. Or it is like a mouse in a lab experiment continually trying to get the food even though it gets shocked and denied every time.
Not many people ordering burgers today? Usually you own the night...the late-night hall monitor. But you're throwing down during the day today!
In the two games since you posted this thread, Aldridge has averaged 28 PTS and 11.5 REB on 0.556 FG%. So, why haven't you started a dedicated thread about how well he bounced back from one of his worst games of the season - about how proud you are of his most recent performances? Or do you only start negative threads and prefer to let the positive go unnoticed? If you're going to bash the guy after one of his worst games of the season (and he's had very few truly bad games since mid-December), you should also give him props when he deserves it. BNM
If I had to guess, Aldridge probably looked at the SA game as one to give himself a bit of a rest as the Spurs were basically taking the night off themselves. At some point, you have to rely on your teammates to get the job done. I'm not condoning it, but he's been back to being LaMonster since that game. I had the good fortune of getting the NOLA broadcast of the Hornets/Blazers game, which featured David West for the second quarter as a commentator. His comments about LA were really insightful. He's taken the next step, and I'm thrilled for our franchise. Look at the game log; he's had five crap nights for the entire season: http://espn.go.com/nba/player/gamelog/_/id/2983/lamarcus-aldridge The next test will be: Can he carry this franchise in the playoffs? Brandon hasn't been yet able to do it, so we'll see if LA is up to the challenge.
