I should start making retarded threads about Aldridge then sit back and watch as people throw it back in my face a couple days later. I bet its a lot of fun.
The Spurs game was Aldridge's 2nd worst game of the season. (Scroll to bottom.) http://www.hoopsstats.com/basketbal...s/lamarcus-aldridge/gamelog/11/25/350/1-1-eff It was a bad time to whiff for 3 reasons. The Spurs have the best record, Duncan (at Aldridge's own position) was out, and the game had late season importance. But we won, bailing him out.
That link shows that Aldridge has had extremes this season against the Spurs. He had his best game and 2 of his worst. Efficiency in chronological order: eff..date..where on the list 19 Dec 12 middle 47 Feb 01 top - his best game of the season 11 Mar 25 near bottom 06 Mar 28 near bottom The only game we lost was Dec. 12 (3 of their league-low 19 losses have been to us). Why did Aldridge go from one extreme to the other? I'm guessing that after the Feb. 1 game, Popovich concentrated his defense on Aldridge.
a point worth a repost... there was at least 8 of these instances in the last two games with Chris Paul and Westbrook STOMP
I care about victories and victories alone. If you care about individual stats, become a Timberwolves fan. You'll have a great time.
