Just got off the phone with Przybilla's agent, Bill Duffy, who confirmed that the Blazers have signed Joel Przybilla to a 5-year, $32 million contract. The fifth year of the contract has a player option.

Duffy said Przybilla had offers from Detroit and San Antonio, and interest from New Jersey, Sacramento and Cleveland. Przybilla early this morning turned down Detroit, prompting the Pistons' move to pick up Nazr Mohammed.</font></font></div>

All he wanted was the MLE? Damn, I though he was going to want 6-8 million a year.

This is a great signing by the Blazers. Joel is a great young player and I remember last season he torched the Magic on both sides of the court. We couldn't stop him. He was scoring and blocking shots left and right. He is a beast and he will be good alongside Aldridge. The Blazers have a nice young roster that is pretty talented. With Jack, Roy, Aldridge and Joel they have a talented young core.

Overpaid? He could of gone for 8-9 million a year if their were more teams with cap space. This is a bargain for the Blazers.

Another stellar move by the Blazers. They're shoring up their frontcourt and now can use Randolph as trade bait, hopefully for a legit NBA point guard. Surely they can't go into this season with Dickau as the starter?

im just not sold on joel. je showed no desire ot improve when he went to the u of m, but hopefully he keeps getting better. he got a little over the mle, i think that he should have just gotten the mle. but, if a team wants to keep a guy, they gotta give hijm a little more. Hopefully him and aldridge become a solid duo for years ot come.

Jack will be the starter, not Dickau. Dickau isn't even healthy yet. Blakes the only other one with a shot to be a starter.

Good for the Blazers to sign Pryzbilla back. He'll help with rebounding and blocks. And can score some points.

Great signing by the Blazers. He could have gone to Detroit to an automatic winning situation, but chose not to.

damn im definetly surprised i thought he would bolt to detroit, SAC!, or another winning situation. Blazers still suck because it gonna take time for aldrige, roy, and basicly there whole college like team to develope, who's there oldest player?
    But good job resigning Joel.

    GO KINGS!!!RESIGN BONZI!!!

Great job. Not only getting him back but getting him back for what's considered cheapre than thought. Joel seems like a great guy, he must believe this organization is committed to winning, or else he wouldn't have re-signed.
